...who happen to live in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. When you stay at the Strawberry Guava, you stay at a full-time home. Children running in the yard, a garden, chickens (and their occasional clucks), home-cooked breakfasts, and good coffee. Ben and Traci are gracious hosts. When driving to the B&B from the airport, my husband and... more

This was my second stay with Traci, Ben and their great kids! I really enjoy and look forward to staying with them because I feel like I'm staying with friends. The quiet, secluded B&B gives me the feeling that I am truly experiencing Kauai like those who live there. I travel alone, so it is very comforting to know that... more

We circled the roads for 20 minutes before we found their unmarked driveway. We checked in at the pre-appointed time. The owners were nowhere to be found. After five minutes of knocking the nanny shows up and has no idea of what to do. We leave our suitcases and go out for the day. We call the owner a little... more

We value the service Trip Advisor provides for our potential guests. We make one simple request for those reading this one; Please, READ OTHER REVIEWS of our B&B We offer warm hospitality, great breakfasts, comfortable rooms, and at $75/night, arguably the best accomodations value on Kauai. This reviewers statements are so far out of character that we cannot possibly respond...

I looked long and hard for a nice place in this price range and everyone pointed me to the Strawberry guava. They have and an outstanding reputation. They lived up to the promise of delicious breakfasts, nice rooms and lovely surroundings. Every morning we enjoyed a home cooked breakfast with the other guests and Traci and Ben took the time... more

My wife and I were at the Strawberry Guava on our honeymoon and were extremely pleased with our stay. The location is a quick drive to ton of beaches and somewhat close to Waimea canyon. The rooms are clean and well kept. These, however, are not the real attraction at the B&B. The gem of the place is your hosts... more

We stayed 3 days in early September. Ben and Tracy were great and they made us feel right at home. We cooked on the grill, just kicked back in the evenings, enjoying the natural surroundings. I prefer to stay among trees and higher up in the hills for quiet and comforat. We had great breakfasts, one day eggs, another day... more

Stayed two day, was the start of a two week vacation which included Kaua'i, Big Island and O'ahu. Our fisrt visit to Kaua'i, alot to see and do. Ben and Traci helps us maximize our exploring time - Waymea Canyon, Na Pali Coast, Lihu'e, Po'ipu, Hanapepe, Kalaheo and much more. This is not a place on the main path of... more

We have just got back from spending a fabulous 12 days on the island. We stayed in the north for the first 9 nights and stayed at Strawberry Guava for the last 2 nights. The B&B is fantastic, the owners are delightful and so accommodating. Our son loved staying there as did my husband and myself. We were given the... more

My wife and I visited Kauai for four days and chose this bed and breakfast for its price and location. We were glad we did! Tracie is the busy mom of three kids and was quite personable, sharing her experiences on where to visit, when to go, etc. Ben was equally helpful. The location was beautiful: a house up in the... more

We stayed at this B&B for 6 nights on our honeymoon. Great place, stunning location. Very quiet and secluded (well, quiet except for the roosters, but you can't escape them *anywhere* on Kaua'i). Ben and Traci, the hosts, get the balance right between leaving guests alone and offering helpful advice -- they know the area well and often provided us... more
