I was spoiled as I was the only guest for 5 nights. I would advise that a lock be put on the bedroom door if there are other guests. Sheila was friendly and very accommodating. The breakfasts were good, especially the variety of fresh fruit. However, I would have liked some homemade baked goods, rather than muffins, crossants and white... more

My fiance and I stayed here during our vacation to Kauai and it was the perfect base as it was central in location. It gave us easy access to Port Allen where all the charters for the Napali Coast are located, and to the sites of the West side of the island. Even getting to the North shore and princeville... more

Sheila offers up her clean, quiet, pretension-free home for travelers looking for privacy and comfort. This hideaway in a hillside neighborhood has a stunning ocean view. It was an ideal base for exploring the south and west sides of Kauai, and Sheila gave experienced guidance. I was completely satisfied with Hale O Nanakai B&B. more

This bed and breakfast was spotless and beautiful. The grounds were also beautiful. There was a lot of fresh fruit for breasfast and bagels and pastries and etc. We had a living room and kitchen also. The owners were also nice. more

We stayed in the Kahili Suite for 3 nights 4-7 sept 2009. We loved this place! Wished we could have stayed longer! Unfortunately we had planed to go on tours that started really early both days and had an early flight the last day so we missed breakfast! However, Sheila is wonderful and we could make our own breakfast using... more

Innkeeper Sheila, as she calls herself, advertises a continental breakfast, but it is really a feast of fresh fruit, juice, bagels, sweetbreads, cheese, hard-boiled eggs, cereals, great coffee and assorted teas. All that while looking at the ocean some three miles distant and 700 feet below. Comfortable, clean accommodation and a hottub to relax in under the stars at the... more

Sheila provided us with a warm and welcoming stay in Laka's garden. We had complete privacy, as though it was our own home. Our refrigerator and table were stocked with muffins, juice, fresh fruit, cold water, etc. each day of our stay. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a home away from home, as well as... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at Sheila's Hale O Nanakai B&B for 3 nights in August 2009. Our room was beautifully decorated, the location with an ocean view is amazing (especially when sitting in the hot tub in the evening under the Milky Way), and Sheila has been a great host. We had some trouble with our rental car (the... more

The B&B is adorable, and everything from the rooms to the towels are warming and comforting. The best part of the B&B was getting to know the host, and her story. Then the B&B truly comes to life. more

Fantastic breakfast, months have gone by since our stay in Feb 2009 but we still remember the great breakfast with a view and nice hot tub. Thanks to our excellent host Sheila. The couple from Sardinia, Italy... more
