The River Estate is a perfect getaway for couples (or couple with small children) looking to unwind. We arrived to an immaculately clean house filled with cds, movies, and all the comforts of home. River Estate is a true gem. Nestled by a stream in the forest on the far side of Hanalei, River Estate is a two-bedroom guest house. The house has been recently remodeled, is tastefully furnished, has one of the better-equipped kitchens you'll find, and is set in a beautiful pastoral environment. This isn't a hotel but rather a rental house. It is a GREAT house, immaculate, well furnished, top quality hardwood floors, granite counters, teak furniture, superb AC, washer dryer, HD Aquos TV, all top quality stuff. My first visit to River Estate was in 2001 and I will be making my 6th visit in two weeks. River Estate is simply paradise!
