we stayed at this property the week leading up to July 4th weekend. We could not have been happier with the resort and staff. It did not seem to be crowded at all, even by the weekend, when more families checked in for the holiday. We had specifically requested the Lagoon Tower based on other reviews, to be close enough... more

My sister and I wanted a few days away from home on Oahu and we went to the Hilton Waikoloa Resort. We had a kamaina rate which was very nice. We took the shuttle from the airport. There is a charge but we had decided that we only wanted to stay at the resort so no car was good for... more

We just returned from five nights at the Hilton Waikoloa Village. We didn't spend all of our days at the resort (we spent one day at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, which was brilliant and another day taking an adventure tour with Hawaii Forest and Trail, which I highly recommend) so we didn't get to explore the resort as much as... more

It's a bit pricey, but a real treat! The artwork alone is worth it. more

I read all the reviews about the Hilton Waikoloa before going and learned the best way to write an honest review to help others in the future is in the following way. My wife and I stayed their for 8 days a nd 7 nights. It was our first visit to the Big Island, but certainly not our last. Here... more

We just stayed there last week, and I was a little dissapointed. The resort is beautiful, and very clean, but after being quoted a 2 hr wait (after already requesting an early check in) it took almost 5 hours before our room was clean, which is ridiculous. Then we find that the room which we were sharing with my mother... more

I have stayed here a number of times when it was a Hyatt and when Hilton first took it over. This is my first trip here in 7 years and the first trip with my kids. I want to say that this an incredible property with great pools and the 4 acre salt water lagoon connected to the ocean is... more

There were about 50 in our group and every single person had a blast at the Hilton Waikaloa. There was something for the youngest child, the teenagers, and the adults. The grounds are so beautiful; the pools and slides were awesome; the lagoon had so much activities; and there were swimming w/ the dolphins that we just watched as we... more

My mom and I just got back from our trip to Hawaii. We stayed at the Hilton at Waikoloa for about a week. While it was a lovely resort, it was not best suited for the adventurous types like my mom and me. It would be an excellent choice for a family (there are lots of family friendly activities) and... more

We had booked this as part of our honeymoon and it was totally unsuitable. There were drunk people and huge families shouting at each other all over the resort. You couldn't find anywhere quiet to sit unless you rented a cabana at $150 per day. You were expected to wear a wristband so that you wouldn't nick the towels. The... more
