The Halii Kai is a condominium community in the resort area of Waikoloa, just across from the Hilton. We stayed in 12-H as did a previous reviewer. Each unit is individually owned, but there are only three basic floor plans. This unit is on the ground level with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. It is very close to the clubhouse/pool area, and has wonderful views of the golf course and ocean (black lava cliffs, no beach close by).
We were quite surprised by the amenities, The unit had binoculars (nice for whale watching), four sets of snorkel gear, floats, tennis rackets and balls, and just about everything else we could think of. Plates, appliances, cookware, everything was top quality and in excellent repair.
We went with our two young children and wife's parents, six in all. The unit was more than adequate for us and never felt cramped.
