Stayed at Waikoloa Marriott for a conference the beginning of April. My husband vacationed while I conferenced at the Marriott. Loved it so much we plan to return with our kids. Check in was fast, The room was clean and the bed was amazing. We had a terriffic view from the King Kamehameha wing on the 2nd floor. Bath room... more

My wife and I stayed at the Marriott as part of a week long conference. From start to finish we were amazed at the beauty of the property, the amazing level of customer service, and the friendliness of the people. Our room was wonderfully decorated, a garden view but with a partial oceanview through the courtyard. The room was spacious... more

We booked 2 nights through Priceline which was a steal compared to the rack rates you pay. Rooms were comfy and the beds were fabulous. Found the staff to be very friendly and the poolside to be great. Two pools, one for kids and one bigger infinity style pool for laps and relaxing for adults. Decent fitness facilities. They had... more

We have just returned from the WB Marriott. NIce place, but for the $, not what I would expect. Should you be opting to upgrade, go for a top level suite rather than the pricey cabanas. The view is much nicer, and when it rains (every day while we were there in Feb), you get soaked walking outside back to... more

The Marriott is a beautiful resort with a 2 large pools (one with waterfall & slide) and expansive beach with plenty of chairs & palm trees. We had a pool & ocean view & it was perfect. One added feature is the Kings Shops right across the street. There is a small food court for quick inexpensive meals such as... more

I was on a business trip on the big island and only got to stay for one night. After a long day of work, relaxing in the big comfy bed was very nice. I also headed down to the bar and take advantage of my 2 free drinks. I had a mai tai and a lava flow, both were delicious.... more

The recent room renovations at the Marriott at Waikoloa are wonderful! The rooms have an Asian decor theme. They have added the new Marriott bedding (it's wonderful), new tile in the bathrooms and new furniture as well. As far as we know, every room has a small fridge, and there is high-speed internet access included in the daily resort fee.... more

I was not informed of the hotel's renovations when I made my booking through Priceline. When I approached the front desk with my disappointment, I was treated rudely and told that they could no nothing. At the time of my stay the following areas of the hotel were either closed or under major renovation: Valet (in a temporary chain-link fence... more

This hotel was better when it was an Outrigger property. The views of the ocean are great, but the beach itself is problematic (rocky bottom, sometimes there is severe sand blowing). The hotel itself had several problems when I visited in April 2005. The quality of the food in the restaurant, whether the Clipper or the Hawaii Calls restaurant itself,... more
