Although the hotel room was a little bit outdated, the room was clean and provides a great view. Hotel staff were very nice, helpful and attentive, making you feel like home. The resort has a nice pool and excellent beach. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at in Hawaii. I have stayed at other fancier hotels in... More

The beach is amazing if you know where to go…It takes a little bit of a walk and you find a secret place away from all the noise… The only noise you hear is the ocean hitting against the lava or sand… It is so peaceful at this part of the beach..You are able to swim with the turtles or... More

This is a great hotel overall, set up like a resort in the Caribbean. Some people don't like the location but there is a lot to do in the area. Most activities are located on the eastern part of the island anyway so you'll be driving. It's an easy drive to the town of Kona just past the airport. The... More

Probably my most favorite 'get away' hotel in Hawaii. Love the location and being right on A-Bay. Great sunset pictures, very friendly staff and nice facilities. My wife loves sitting by their fantastic pools and just soaking it in. We both really enjoy this magical place.

I stayed here for 5 days in the middle of August with my family of 8 (Including my wife and 2 kids and my mother, father and 2 sisters). We were initially given a different room to what we had booked, but after a quick phone call the issue was rectified. The resort itself is in a great position on... More

Not going to lie when we checked into the hotel at night we were expecting the hotel to be awesome! We came to find out that after 2 days there, you honestly don't know what to do with yourself but to die of crazy boredom. The only thing good about the hotel is the beautiful pool area. There was barely... More

We spent a week at the resort and enjoyed it a lot. The room view wasn't the best (the corner rooms are huge in size but no view). The pools are nice. Could be bigger. Having to cross the ponds to get to the beach can be an issue sometime if you are wet and tired, but its not too... More

This Marriott has a better location and ambiance than the Courtyard in Kailua. However, it is very short on shade given the intensity of the sun in the summer months. There are no umbrellas on the beach-- just plastic lounge chairs and around the pool areas there are about 19 umbrellas for more than 100 lounge chairs. they charge 100$... More

I recently spent a short staycation at the Waikoloa Beach Marriott. While my stay was short, the hotel and its surroundings did leave a mixed impressions with me. The hotel itself has a nice setting and is in a good location. It sits next to the only beach in the Waikoloa Resort area (the Hilton does not have a beach)... More
