After visiting the Waikoloa Hilton for a day, I was glad I saved the vast expense of the food, drink & incidentals by staying at the Waikoloa Vista condos across and down the street from the Hilton. The Hilton is spectacular, but with a child, we found the kitchen/grocery choice a much more economical way to stay for a week.... more

This was the second time we stayed in the Waikoloa Villas, in the Village. Very nice area which has quite a few nice condo communities, most of which rent. No question, a golfing community. We have a relative that owns a real nice unit in Waikoloa Villas. But this time we rented our own, since we were there for a... more

We came and stayed here in 2004 and were very happy. This is not a hotel and should be regarded as such. It is a condo and more like staying in your own apartment. We loved the breezes off the Lanai and the blue tile pool is great. If you are looking for crowds and happenings this is not the... more

We stayed here and the place was a disaster. Stains galore on the couches and chairs. Tons of bugs all over the place. place hasn't been updated in twenty years it looked like. bathroom cabinets were coming apart. food from last guests were left in the refrigerator (half eaten sandwich among other things). trash was never taken out before we... more

We had a two bedroom, 2.5 bath condo across the street from the Hilton Waikoloa Village. The condo was spacious, the kitchen had everything we needed and there was also a washer/dryer. The master bedroom had a full size soaking tub and separate shower. The second bedroom had two twin size beds. The second bathroom had a separate shower and... more

We stayed at the Waikoloa Villas Feb 12-19, 2005. Great time! We booked our condo through Abbey Vacation Rentals. A bit of a leap of faith since we had only corresponded with them via internet and email - but the arrangements worked out very well. Condo was clean and as pictured. Only disappointment was that the condo complex doesn't actually... more

Very nice, clean place. The condo we stayed in was quiet for the most part, although one of the nights we were there, there was some kind of party at night and TONS of young children were outside shouting until after midnight. The patio chairs are a nice place to relax during the day. It was really nice to have... more

Well for start offs, the other review was right about the 3"oclock check in but we had that covered due to my wife being the travel expert..It was the best hotel we stayed at in Hawii and we stayed at 4 different ones around the islands. The beauty of this place took me by surprise. Very peaceful and quiet.Great at night... more

There are NO check in facilities at this complex. It is a collection of privately owned conds. A real estate agent is supposed to contact you to let you know which condo you are staying in and give you the key. Unfortunately none of this happens when you book over the internet through Expedia!!! We ended up stranded in the... more
