We were lucky enough to get the last room available over Memorial Day weekend. Unfortunately it was only available for one day but we took it anyway. It's our 2nd time staying there. The only downfall was whoever was above us made so much noise throughout the night (swear they were having a dance contest) that we hardly slept. The... More

Stopped in for a late lunch after visiting Volcano Parks. The dining room was very quaint and charming. Waitress was kind but not sure of a couple of questions about menu. Hubby ordered salad and substituted catch of day for the chicken. He liked it very much. I wanted a mango chutney dressing for my house salad but was told... More

We stayed here for two nights as our base to explore the Volcano National Park. We stayed in 'the cottage' a little one bedroom cottage next to the main accommodation block that was built around 100 years ago as the caretakers cottage. It has been nicely renovated while still maintaining the 100 year-old charm. The lodge is only a 3... More

We stayed here 3 nights in order to explore Volcanoes National Park. Glad we had that long, because two of the mornings it rained so hard we could not venture out much. We stayed in the Liko Room, located upstairs in the Hale Aloha building, a very short walk from the main building that houses the restaurant. Very clean and... More

This is a lovey spot on the top of the volcano. It is in the rainforest and so you get a different perspective of Hawaii. It is very close to Volcano National Park. The restaurant is top notch! Had great food and service. I would definitely stay here again. The rooms are nicely decorated and have gas fireplaces. There are... More

The Kilauea Lodge in the village of Volcano on the island of Hawaii is truly an experience as opposed to a hotel stay. The location is perfect for visiting Kilauea Volcano National Park. It is very handy to the active cone and so works very well for night viewing. There is also a wonderful restaurant which serves the included complimentary... More

We loved our stay at Kilauea Lodge! We stayed at the Ola'a Plantation House, which is disconnected from the actual lodge, and we loved it! Breakfast was great, and the hot chocolate was a huge hit with my daughter. We didn't have dinner there, because the menu was quite fancy, and we prefer something a little more casual, so we... We, family of four, stayed in the ola plantation house. The house was beautiful, two large bed rooms, big kitchen with all you need and a cosy living room. Last but not least it has a perfectly maintained garden and its in a dead end street. Breakfast is super and served at the lodge which is half a mile away,... More

We stayed at the Kilauea Lodge for 2 nights while visiting Kilauea. The lodge had beautiful grounds, wonderful food, and excellent, comfortable accommodations. The main building, primarily taken up with the restaurant, had a delightful, large fireplace with a nice seating area. The large gazebo near the main building was also extremely comfortable and a delightful place to sit, even... More
