While traveling with another couple, my wife & I stayed two nights at the Kilauea Lodge's Pi'i Mauna House. This is a duplex house in a residential area about 5 minutes from the Lodge and at the edge of a golf course. We were entertained by wild turkeys and pheasants moving across the lawn. The duplex is several minutes from... More

Very comfortable rooms. Nicely furnished. Each room even has a water cooler. One mile from park. The breakfast which is included in the rate is delicious. The grounds are beautiful. More

We needed a place to stay after getting out of Hilo. We lucked out when the Kilauea Lodge had an opening. What a beautiful and amazing lodge. quiet, serene and a cute kitty that lives there too! we got back to the lodge after our 4 mile hike at the crater. the hot tub was a muscle saver! felt great... Well regarded and well reviewed, we have little to add. They give you purified water, include an excellent lodge breakfast and have a very liberal cancellation policy unlike some other lodgings nearby. Book early for best rooms, as all are different. Stay at least two nights, even three, in area for maximum enjoyment of the park, including at least one... More

We stayed in the Pii Mauna house the second week in January for a night. House is about 4 miles from the lodge and is in a quiet neighborhood. house backs up to a golf course. It is rustic but provided exactly what we needed- accomodations for a family of 5 in Volcano right near the entrance to the national... More

The quaint old YMCA lodge buildings have been turned into very nice and well furnished rooms with out destroying their historic character. Our room was very comfortable and clean with nice bed and bath. It was a bit cool to take advantage of the outdoor hot tub by the time we arrived on a cooler evening but it looked like... More

Small property just 12 rooms very close to the park entrance at the volcano national park. The room was lovely with a king size bed and a fireplace. They have the only restaurant in the area. The food was ok at dinner but the breakfast which was included in the price was very good. The appeal is being close to... More

Great location just near the entrance to Volcano National Park. The rooms are big, comfortable, and clean. It's pricey for the area, but not a bad deal when you include breakfast, which is pretty good. More

We stayed here ten years ago, and they still maintain a high level of quality. The accommodations at "tutu's" private cottage was outstanding, and dinner at the restaurant (duck a la orange) was the best meal of our whole trip (10 days). More

We looked around, but didn't stay. We were looking for lunch and it was really great. One of the best burgers I have had. My wife's clubhouse sandwich was also first class. The prices were also very good and setting, in an old boys camp dining room, was lovely. More
