The owners are very kind and wonderful people. Even though we got there after dark, it was easy to find with the help of the owners directions and they even came out to greet us after 9pm. The breakfast had a lot of great options including local produce. The lava tube tour made it a 5 out of 5, so... More

We had a pleasant experience at our first bed and breakfast. Choice of breakfast food was enough for my husband and me. Bed was comfortable and it was nice to have a dehumidifier in the room. The only problem was no light over the bathroom mirror. It made it difficult for my husband to shave. It was nice to get... More

We stayed in a small room with the kitchenette and the small jacuzzi tub in the same room! Cob webs in the kitchenette/jacuzzi room. The dishes & silverware were not clean. We were afraid to turn on the fan because the fan had at least an inch of dust on it! They had a very small room that looked like... More

My sister and I were here a few years ago. Same gorgeous location, rainforest lush and beautiful. Only negative were the grimy bedspreads and blankets underneath , this time around. I should've asked Shannon to wash them. Good value for the money. This is a rustic B&B, not the Ritz Carlton. Shannon brought fresh towels promptly, delicious tea cakes in... More

We paid more than 160 dollars to stay in a room with furniture that was taken from a rubbish dump. Everything was dirty. We didn't want to touch anything. The first time I used the toilet it was obstructed. I told the owner and he didn't help me, he just told me: take this plunge, help yourself! The breakfast was... More

Our second stay in this quiet rainforest gem, close to the national park and Pele. The rooms are cosy with all amenities and fresh breakfast in our room every day. Dan and Shannon were very friendly and helpful. We were part of a larger group and they kindly took all of us into their amazing lava tube right on their... More

We are so grateful we found the Aloha Crater Lodge right outside of Volcano National Park! It is an adorable B+B tucked in the rainforest. It felt like a home away from home. There was fresh fruit and baked good every morning. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We loved talking with Shannon, the owner. She is so sweet... More

This place is a little gem. It is right next to the Volcano and in a quiet spot. It is family owned and the owners are delightful to talk to and deal with. The food is wonderful and the room was lovely. I definitely recommend staying here.

We enjoyed our stay in Volcano. We have friends who own another B&B, but they did not have room for all of us. They recommended this place and we were so grateful they did. There is so much to see on the Volcano side of the Island, it is impossible to do it all in one day. The rooms were... More

Good lodging close to the Volcano National Park. We went back to the park after sunset to see the volcano. Shannon recommended nearby restaurants where we went for dinner with live music. We did not explore the lava tube on site, but it looked amazing. The room itself was comfortable with delicious home-made goodies. Thanks
