We enjoyed our stay in Volcano. We have friends who own another B&B, but they did not have room for all of us. They recommended this place and we were so grateful they did. There is so much to see on the Volcano side of the Island, it is impossible to do it all in one day. The rooms were... More

Good lodging close to the Volcano National Park. We went back to the park after sunset to see the volcano. Shannon recommended nearby restaurants where we went for dinner with live music. We did not explore the lava tube on site, but it looked amazing. The room itself was comfortable with delicious home-made goodies. Thanks

Great lodging right outside of Volcano National Park. Comfy, cozy room with wonderful fresh fruit, homemade muffin and other breakfast foods. Additional Lava Tube Tour was an added "Big" bonus. Thanks so much.

They let us check in earlier at the room with a little patio. The surrondings are like rainforest but you have shop, pizza takeaway, restaurangs just "around the corner" by car. The location is good. Not far from the entrence to The Volcano park wich means you can come back in the evening to look at the light from the... More

We recently stayed at the Aloha Crater Lodge, and all five of us (85 year old Grandma included) had a wonderful time. It is very close to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park entrance, and only a half an hour from Hilo. The lava tube on site was awesome-Dan shared lots of interesting tidbits about it. Shannon was super friendly, helping... More

We spent 1 night here. It was a great experience, clean rooms, and in-room breakfast. There is a lava tube that runs right under the property. We got a personal tour from the owner, Dan who patiently answered all our questions.

We only stay for one night, they allowed us to check inn prior to the check inn time, the room was very spacious, a little outdated, but comfy. The lava tube tour it was a little scary. The owner took me and my husband inside the lava tube, but he made us very uncomfortable. He got waaaaaaay too close for... More

Good location near the park, tucked amongst lush landscaping. Lava tube on sight was far better than the one at the park. Room was adequate for 2 adults/2 children. Breakfast was provided & fresh fruit was waiting for us upon arrival. Overall all good experience!

Can you imagine having a Lava Tube in the garden of your hotel? That's what Aloha Crater and it's forest atmosphere has to offer. Danny and Shannon will welcome you very friendly and you will feel at home, literally, the breakfast is already inside your room with croissants and a cake! Way to go to stay and visit the volcanos!

The room was spacious. This was the only B&B we stayed at that had a continental breakfast; not as personal as having breakfast with the host/hostess and conversation over a home cooked breakfast, but good, ample fruit & food in the fridge, had a small sink, etc. We asked to see the lava tube advertised on the property and were...
