We booked two rooms, the service was excellent beforehand, we were offered details of a guide and also how we wanted the rooms configured as I had not told the Lodge we were Mum, Dad and 2 teenagers. A lot of thought has gone into making the rooms comfortable and "luxury" and a big effort on breakfast given they are... More

The lodges at Volcano Village are exceptional. The construction is well done and absolutely beautiful with all natural wood. The furnishings match the style of the lodges, well made wooden beds, tables and chairs with clean and comfortable cushions, linens and pillows. The breakfast was more than generous and always delicious. The town itself is a hidden gem that is... More

Mahalo for taking the time to write a review of our property. We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay with us. At Volcano Village Lodge we have 5 lodges, all of which are private and romantic. When the lodges were built, we took into consideration our native rainforest. Hence, we built around the forest, creating a beautiful... More

We couldn't have selected a better place to stay for our Vocano National Park Vacation. Our cottage was beautiful, our kids loved the second bedroom and the loft. The whole lodge had the feel of a fancy Treehouse. The service staff was excellent and the in-room breakfast was fantastic. The location is within 10 minutes of the park. The Lodge... More

Mahalo for taking the time to write a review of our property. Many of our rooms are referred to as treehouses. However, with that said, we do provide luxurious accommodations. We strive for five and our staff will go above and beyond for all our guests. Like the review stated, we are nestled in a secluded, rainforest and once you... More

The hotel is outside the national park. It's close to it though. There are just 5 or 6 rooms in the lodge. You have to do your own things from 6 PM through 8 AM until the managers arrive. However, you can contact them over the phone. The rooms are nice and clean. There are some nice cloud forest plants... More

After only being there for 5 minutes, my 18 year old son started complaining. "What, we're only staying here for 2 nights?!!" Yes, that was the consensus of my entire family. My family of 4 stayed in the large Mauna Loa cottage and my mom stayed in the Kilauea. No regular TV for 2 teenage kids? Never an issue. Even... More

Loved these little cottages- it felt like you were staying in a beautiful tree house. Having the volcano so close by gives you a chance to explore during the day and the night. Stargazing from Volcano House Restaurant was fantastic and the food was excellent. Plus you see the glow from the volcano! Then you return to your secluded home... More

We only stayed here one night because of a family emergency and we could not stay the second. The place is very quiet and comfortable. The staff went out of there way to help us, provided us with directions to a few places that we wanted to see. The lodge (much more then a room) was large, it has a... More

My husband and I had honeymoon in Kauai and Bigisland. Among all the places we stayed, we love Volcano Village Lodge most! The location is in volcano... More

The venue is wonderful. It's exactly as advertised and shown on the web. It was like sleeping in a treehouse in the rain forest. The units have breakfast accoutrements including a fresh fruit and hot item placed in the fridge the night before. It lets you be in full control of your schedule. A robust dvd library offsets the lack... More

My girlfriend and I have a super awesome time at Volcano Village! The room we rented was like a little cottage, very charming and clean.
