This place was exactly what I hoped for and more. The cabin (Kaliuea Hale) feels like a little tree house nestled in the rain forest. It is very open but so you can enjoy your setting but they've taken care to provde the feeling of being the only one here with carefully placed screens. We never saw another person expect... More

Even after looking at all the great reviews we were still amazed at this wonderful location, wished we could stay longer, the attention to details is impeccable!!! Very close the the Park and easy access, WIFI in each unit makes staying in touch easy, as there is hardly any cell service..

Mahalo for the kind review. Volcano Village Lodge is in an excellent location, close to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Nestled in the beautiful, native rainforest, many guests leave Volcano Village Lodge feeling recharged. We provide our guests with world-class hospitality and strive for perfection. While cell phone reception is weak on much of the property, we do offer our guests... More

Lovely setting, very quiet, friendly and helpful staff. They give you a box of macademia nut chocolate as a welcome gift! I agree with what another reviewer said about the self-serve breakfasts. While it's convenient to eat in the room, fruit cut and put in the refrigerator the day before isn't the same as freshly cut fruit. I thought half... More

Loved our lodge, so cosy and nice decorated. Great food and nice staff. Definately worth a visit! The little lanais surrounded by the rainforest were so lovely and the rocking chairs so comfortable. Thanks for making our stay so great!

Pros: Spacious room, beautifully furnished. Quiet, remote location, yet still totally convenient to all Volcano attractions. Staying overnight in Volcano means you see all the major sites before the tour buses come up from Kona. Areas for improvement: Self-serve breakfast only fair compared to all the other B&B breakfasts we enjoyed on the Big Island; no place to put luggage... More

This little bed and breakfast was amazing. It was quaint and you feel taken care of. You feel like you are in the middle of the jungle as our room had a lot of floor-length mirrors that leaves you looking out into the jungle. The Lodge cannot serve a hot breakfast, but they leave you a very nice spread that... More

A lovely lodge in the rain forest. We spent 5 days in the Hale Kilauea lodge (room) and enjoyed our time there. It's away from traffic and the bustling tourist areas and offers great peace and privacy. Volcanoes National Park is right around the corner, a mere 10 minutes away, offering some spectacular landscape and many hiking options. Our room... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in February and highly enjoyed our stay. Everything from check in to check out was flawless. Wonderful snacks were in the room and replenished daily. Extremely quiet and beautiful, tucked into the woods/rainforest of southern Big Island. Very close to downtown, just be warned, everything closes early there. We had a microwave & fridge... More

I stayed just one night on my trip to Volcano and totally enjoyed the peace and quiet of the rainforest in my comfortable and well appointed room. We enjoyed the large window views into the rainforest just steps beyond our room. Very open but very private due to the placement of each guest's quarters. Mahalo for writing a review of our Hale Manaluna room.
