I have to say that as we drove to Lotus, I was a little concerned that it might be too far from Hilo. But the next day my misgivings were quickly dispelled. We had a wonderful time at Lotus Gardens. The hosts were very welcoming, the breakfasts were delicious, the location was close enough to come back for lunch but away from the hustle and bustle. We highly recommend it. more

The place is in the volcano village and it's very quiet and relaxing. The rooms are well kept, clean and felt just like home. The hosts were very friendly and would definitely go back and stay there again! more
This is the most B&B I've every stayed at. We had 2 rooms booked - Hula Moon and Lotus Garden, both very beautiful. The cottage is surrounded by the rainforest.
