Bill and Antoinette have thought of everything! This cottage, which was built in 1912, is exclusively yours. It is stocked with all of the little things that are usually missing at other accommodations. The condition of the grounds and the cottage are impeccable. Bill is a master cabinetmaker and it shows. Here you are completely secluded in your own piece... More

My wife and I stayed there for 5 nights after staying up north at Wianuhea. We chose this place deliberately because we wanted someplace quiet and more private as a way to end our stay, as well as a place that would be close to the park/make it easy to explore the southern part of the island. We couldn't have... More

My husband and I spent 5 awesome nights at the Teapot cottage and loved it. We really appreciated the owner (Bill) coming by after we arrived to go over helpful information about places to eat in the area and things to do. He also let us know about a program at Volcanoes NP that wasn't listed on their activity board... More

This was one of my favorite places I've stayed in my life. Some reviewers have said things like, "Pictures don't do this place justice", or "My review doesn't do this place justice". I whole-heartedly agree with these statements. So I will just try to list as many details so you can determine if these qualities would fit with your preferences.... More

We spent 2 nights at the Cottage! in early December. A ton of reviews accurately describe the beauty, tasty food and completeness of the Cottage but we can go one step further. Bill and Antoinette, the owners, had a humongous, beautifully decorated live spruce Christmas tree in the living room. What a treat! It gave us Tree Envy. The Cottage... More

Pictures do not do this wonderful place justice!!!! You really have to be here to notice the wonderful details Bill and Antoinette (our hosts) have paid attention to. The cottage does not stop amazing you! As many mentioned in their reviews, we received a comprehensive welcome package before our arrival, along with a pack of delicious mango tea. The directions... My husband and I stayed at the Cottage for two nights in November, I only wish it was longer! Absolute perfection, from all of the wonderful goodies left for us in the refrigerator to the relaxing private hot tub in the backyard. The accommodations had all the comforts of home, we didn't want to leave. Thank you for a wonderful... More

We just returned from a 3 night stay at the Volcano Teapot cottage. Before we even arrived, we had received a wonderful packet of information on the cottage and location. The cottage is wonderful, filled with everything you need. We loved the gas fireplace, the outdoor hot tub and indoor claw foot tub! Each day, we were left delicious homemade... More

Words often fall short, and I am sure this review will be no different. Truly there are not enough words to describe the beauty and magic of this property. I have stayed at many 5 star hotels in my life, and none of them can hold a candle to this wonderful little cottage, tucked into an enchanting rainforest garden. The... More

My husband and I were lucky enough to stay at the Volcano Teapot Cottage for two nights this past October for our Honeymoon. We wish we stayed longer! We were blown away at how beautiful the cottage was, as well as the private lush surroundings. When we got there, we were immediately in awe at the blooming hydrangeas and cute... More
