Simply put, this is the most extraordinary place I have ever stayed at. You'd think you might have to "rough it up" a little to spend the night at a tree house, but not in this case. This house really does have everything you need to be comfortable. On the upper floor, there's a big bedroom which has a comfy... More

Went on a vacation with my family in December and stayed in the treehouse for two nights, it was by far everyones favorite part of the vacation. The treehouse is beautiful and comfortably slept all six of us. It was amazing to be so close to nature and enjoy everything that the treehouse had to offer. It was a very... More

We stayed in June 2014 and were so glad we booked three nights. Excellent location to explore Volcano national park and a good spot to explore the rest of the east side. The treehouse itself was really cool. Probably the most fun and quirky place we have ever stayed. Ended up being one of the highlights of our trip to... More

What a wonderful tree house experience. I have a special connection with trees and this was a lifelong dream to spend time in a treehouse, and be 'at one 'with nature. We where lucky enough to experience the beauty of laying in bed watching the stars at night ,and also the following night listening and watching the rain fall. Nature... More

This is a delayed review as my husband and I stayed in the treehouse in at the end of June. It was awesome. Unfortunately we only stayed one night but I wish we stayed more (just like Skye promised!). The place is gorgeous, it's modern and really fun. Highly recommend, especially if you don't want a cookie cutter hotel room.... More

We recently stayed in Skye's Treehouse No.2 which was wonderful! Skye gave is excellent directions and is very friendly and a little quirky to talk to. The treehouse itself is also a little quirky. We (as a couple) stayed for 2 nights but I would have stayed longer if I could. The clever design of the treehouse has a full... More

I was expecting a "rustic" experience when I signed up for staying in a treehouse. This is anything but. The photos don't do it justice-- it's really like staying in a super modern, mostly glass 2 floor duplex, that happens to be built about 20 feet above ground. You feel both like you are in the trees and that you... More

Our son and daughter in law had previously stayed in Skye's tree houses and encouraged us to do so. We were so thrilled with our stay! Skye is a creative genius, and being in the treehouse is experiencing art. The stairway banisters, the upstairs bed frame, the door"knobs", the kitchen pan hanging rack, and the lanai walkways are all created... More

Driving up to the treehouse, you are unsure of what to expect but we found ourselves pleasantly surprised. The setting and treehouse are beautiful. There almost seem to be more windows than walls, making you feel immersed in the rainforest. We stayed here for three nights and didn't want to leave. The treehouse had all the amenities we needed. There... More

This is a wonderfully unique place to stay. Think of it as a cabin in the sky, built by a guy named Skye. It's not a five-star resort; it's more like a five-star camping experience, with a full kitchen, multiple sleeping areas, bath/shower, and plenty of beautiful views of the foliage surrounding the area. Skye was a perfect host in... More
