We stayed in the Dillingam Suite, 2adults and 2 kids. Totally loved the suite. The suite had a refrigrator, microwave, plates, cups. Living room had a sofa bed with a trundle. Very nice place for 2 kids to sleep. The restroom even had a small book shelf with few books to read. There were extra blankets and pillows. My kids... More

Had a very pleasant stay here in September, 2014. I loved the architecture of the main building and the cottages, and I especially loved the grounds. It is within the rainforest and I spend a lot of time in the morning taking photos of the carpet of moss and the tropical ferns and flowers at the perimeter of the grounds.... More

We stayed here during our trip to he Volcano National Park. We booked one of the cottages. They are small but for that well equiped. There is a gas chimney - we needed it because it was raining and cold during our complete stay. There is no breakfast room but breakfast will be provided at the cottage. There are not... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay very much. We arrived a little later in the evening so our key was waiting for us. We stayed in the master suite which is attached to the main house. The room was far bigger than I was expecting, with a nice size bathroom too, which is seperate to the... More

Our family of 5 got to the Big Island just after the hurricane in August 2014. As to be expected after a major storm, there was no electricity or running water, but the owner had made adequate provisions so it felt like an adventure. Every morning he would bring us amazing coffee and he'd collected fresh rainwater for us to... More

Certainly a B&B feel, although with no full breakfast and limited interaction with the staff and other guests. A small breakfast of fruits and bread was set out the night before, suitable to start your day. We never met the owner, although his staff were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Location is excellent, next to Volcano... More

This is a very cute cottage and good place to stay. The only complain was we found mole on the fridge handle and around the fridge and the sheets and carpet don't have the clean smell. Otheriwise, love the complimentary breakfast carrot bread, banana, juice and other amenities.

Bug's everywhere. Room is little cold. The hitter is very tiny. There was nobody when I arrived at 8:00 pm. Breakfast is not fresh. You can know the next room cellphone vibration. The only good thing is the location.

We stayed in their offsite two bedroom, two bath cottage during the hurricane in August 2014. The house was great, yes the power did go off for two days and the water stopped running right after that but the manager brought us a bucket of water so we could flush the toilets. The cottage is newer and down a one... More

A delightful cluster of cottages huddled in the giant ferns and moss of the Volcano rain forest. Quiet and peaceful with easy access to the volcano park entrance and hikes into and around the crater. Perfect little breakfast awaits you in your in room fridge when you get up with the birds in the morning:Papaya , banana , carrot cake... More
