A cute little B&B type feel, very homely and only minutes from the entrance to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and the main "town" of Volcano, Volcano Village. Stayed 1 night as our last night on the Big Island, to enable us to check out the park for a few hours in the arvo & stay for sunset - so the... More

What a delightful property! We were greeted warmly by Kira at the office, who then escorted us to our accommodation, Iiwi. We loved this room. Comfy bed. Nice bathroom with nice fluffy towels. Great little seating area. On checking, Kira noted a few items missing from our breakfast set up, which she quickly remedied. Later, we returned to perform a... More

So comfortable. Such a perfect locAtion just 10 minutes away from the visitor center. Attentive and friendly staff and loved the breakfast each morning. The only suggestion we would have is to make the living room available after the gift shop closes.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It's a great location next to the Volcanoes National Park and Volcano Village. The rooms are nice and the breakfast was delicious fresh fruit and juice and a loaf of banana bread. There were no tv's here, but they had plenty of books and games if you're looking to do indoor things (but you're... More

The grounds are beautiful, and the rooms are fine. It was very quiet, and it is very close to the Volcanoes National Park. I would definitely stay there again. It was cozy and rustic, and tastefully decorated.

I must admit, this was my 8th stay at this bucolic retreat. My husband and I first found this place in 1997 and we always come back whenever we're on the Big Island. The setting is a peaceful oasis away from the crowds and stress of most tourist spots and the location is convenient for making day trips to the... More

This is an excellent lodging with a touch of a cabin in the wood. They serve breakfast which consist of fruits, homemade juice and a loaf of flavored bread (we had a banana bread on our first morning and a pineapple on the second). The location is 5 minutes away from the national volcano park which makes it ideal for... More

Conveniently near the Volcano Park and Volcano village. The suite has a nice bow window and the room overall is pretty. The cottages are dreamy from outside, and the garden is beautiful. Staff was very helpful and nice. I really appreciated having the menu of the nearby restaurants: they were outdated, but still gave an idea of what to expect.... More

We stayed at cottage 44, which was the old water tower, and absolutely loved it. It was very easy to check in and the directions to the property were easy to follow. The cottage itself was small, but had enough room for our luggage and plenty of space to sit and relax. The bed was the most comfortable of our... More

Agree with everything everyone has said. Great spot, near volcano nt park so you can go there any time and avoid the crowds at the lava viewing sites. Good food options nearby. The ihilani cabin was very nice, clean, cozy (dont need A/C here), quiet. No TV was what we actually needed for a couple days. Cont breakfast was fine.... More
