The Hale Ohia B & B is on one of the most beautiful pieces of property in the village of Volcano. The location is great, very close to the entrance of Volcanoes National Park and easy to find, right off the highway (if you follow directions). We had cottage #44 and it was excellent. Cottage was clean, decor tastefully done, very relaxing and private. Althought our last night we had some noisey neighbors, we had to go outside and ask them to keep it down. Thankfully they did. Otherwise we loved our stay here. This is the second time we have stayed at Cottage 44, and it is simply wonderful. The cottage itself is very cozy and romantic, the breakfast is great, and the proprieter and staff are helpful. An added bonus was quality time with Dixon, the resident cat. I can't imagine staying anywhere else around the volcano. more
