I stayed here for two nights in June. The weather was perfect, with no rain during the day, and very few clouds. As other have stated, the location is very remote, which for me was ideal. If you are the type of person who needs to be entertained, then you might not be happy here. If you just want peace... More

Its like staying with your gay friend who just happens to have a house in Hawaii. Didier is a perfect host and he'll answer every and all questions you have about Hawaii, the B and B, and his own journey. Partner and I had probably the least desirable room in the house (shared bath, not on the poolside), but the... More

My partner and I had a great stay here. Our room was clean and bed was comfortable. Pool and hot tub were great to use and relaxing. We enjoyed star gazing at night on the patio. The location is remote, and we enjoyed that. No traffic noise, really laid back. Our host was very nice and helpful in choosing places... More

We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary! The Paradise Suite is perfect for romance. I have given Absolute Paradise 5 stars for the following reasons: - Location was very private. - Clothing optional. - Near Kehena Beach - A great black sand clothing-optional beach. Visiting on Sunday is a MUST to get a up close and personal taste of the... More

We recently stayed at the Absolute Paradise B&B and were somewhat disappointed in the place. The place really needs some updating. Our mattress was in very poor condition along with the linens on the bed. The furniture in the common areas probably could be replaced as well. The televison in the common area is an old 15in. television which is... More

My biggest concern about this review was the comment about the quality of the mattress and I wanted a chance to ask other guests for their candid assessment before replying. I've now had five other guests (two couples and one solo traveler) sleep in this room since this review was posted online and I asked them for their honest opinion,... More

We loved this place . It is in a beautiful tropical setting in a peaceful village. Kalapana village cafe is nearby and it has amazing charm. This B and B is close to flowing lava and Didier the host can tell you how to get there. The pool and jacuzzi are great !

Went to Absolute Paradise for our honeymoon and had a great time! The location is perfect because it's not so "tourist-y" yet still welcoming. Didier was the best host suggesting local attractions to see. Clean facilities, and a fabulous pool that has been re-surfaced so please disregard any previous reviews complaining about a pool liner. It's great! I hope to... More

My partner and I were pleasantly surprised with this property. Absolute Paradise is tucked away on a much quieter, less traveled and completely serene part of the Island. You'll find nothing but locals here - not a tourist insight, apart from those staying at Absolute Paradise! The owner of the B&B is great - welcoming, informative and super friendly. We... More

This was my second stay at Absolute Paradise and it was just as marvelous as I remembered it from the first visit. Didier is a great host and the open floor plan, pool, and deck give the place a homey feel and on both visits the guests interacted like a big extended family. Yes, it is out of the way,... More

If you want to see lava flows and a quieter part of the island, this is a great place to spend time. We recently stayed there (April 2012) and were very pleased with our stay. Didier, the proprieter, is very friendly and helpful. He helped us with dinner suggestions, lava guides and much more. We loved our room, the house,... More
