We stayed at Sea Mountain Resort #24 after a week at a Resort north of Kona enjoyed the scenic drive shopped before hand stopped at a few road side stands. Once we opened the door and saw the view off the ocean the drive was well worth it as we had planed our 10 days on the big Island and... More

We stayed with our two boys (ages 8 and 10), and as we knew what to expect, we had a good week. We stocked up on food in Kona before driving down and spent lots of time at the black sand beach and Volcano National Park. I was very disappointed with the pool (no toys allowed, even if no other... The area is isolated. No other stores or condos around. This is the only one. Pick you condo carefully, ours needed to have a serious bleaching!! and the removal of the master bedroom carpet, fake plants and all new linens!! So when you look for a condo down here, find one with NO carpet!! It is the wetter side of... More

We found this resort was exactly what we were looking for.It is close, walking distance, to the black sand beach and the turtles, nice easy walking along the shore on the lava, ancient village ruins..Short drive to Volcano..Resort is very well kept..We will deffintly go back if it comes up again

Overall, I guess the place isn't terrible. My wife and I came here for our honeymoon, wouldn't come back. First off, our bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in, it sank in about 6-8". It was way beyond soft, more like it needed to be replaced. We both didn't sleep well for the duration of our... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I will be sure to bring your concerns up with the staff. I apologies for the inconvenience it caused you. Our units were renovated in 2011 with all new furniture and updates. Unfortunately the golf course is not run by the same management that runs the resort. Sea Mountain is... More

I suspect most of the people writing the reviews are timeshare owners or they are use to lower standard vacations. I was brought here by an owner no having any idea of what to expect. I was shocked to see that there was nothing around for miles. The two closest towns had nothing to offer. If you are looking for... More

Like many of the other reviews state, these are very nice condos in a very quiet and secluded area. There is not much to do in this area but it is a 40 minute drive to Volcanoes National Park and a couple small towns nearby with basic groceries and small town restaraunts. Now for the golf course, it is in... More

This is a beautiful place to stay, as long as you know what to expect. It is 60 miles and 90 minutes from Kona, 56 miles and 75 minutes from Hilo. The closest town is about 15 minutes away, with several small restaurants and an overpriced grocery store. If you are going to eat out it is either there or... More

We stayed in 1 bedroom 1 bath unit. This is the most peaceful & beautiful resort I have visited. We had the end unit on the front row and the scenery and sunsets were awesome. The unit was well equipped with everything you need to cook. There is a lovely oceanfront pool and hot tub in the center of the... More

We rented a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage with a peek-a-boo ocean view for one night and was very impressed. Room 51 was very clean with a well stocked kitchen. Both beds were very comfortable and the pillows were perfect. The bathrooms were spotless. It was very quiet at night, unlike any of the other properties in the Pahala/Punalu'u area.... More
