Rainforest Retreat 2 nights. This place was wonderful. Much like the design of the Secret Beach Cottages on Kauai only the living-room was twice the size and it would sleep a family of 4 no problem. Plus it was just outside the VNP in Volcano Village (less than 5 minutes). Upon our arrival they had delivered to our cottage very nice muffins and fruit for breakfast the next morning. There are 4 cottages on the property but with the rainforest surrounding us, you could not see the others places. And absolutely NO BUGS. We could leave our windows open. Again - this was a wonderful place to feel alone but so close to everything. The furnishings and everything were top notch and great. Fireplace, DVDs, cool music to chose from..... just a great place.

We ate that night at the Kilauea Lodge. It was a 10. Wonderful gourmet food. Yummy. The restaurant was rustic but the food was upscale and wonderful. Service was topnotch. more
