Hosts: friendly and very enthusiastic about our trips, our stay, interests. Location: perfect for Hilo, jaunts to Pahoa for dinner, the volcano. Very quiet. Billions and billions of stars seen from the hot tub. Value: much better than others for the money. For instance, excellent breakfast included, served with a smile.

We had a very good time at Arts and Orchid, rooms are big, clean and confortables. Breakfast was very good (amazing banana bread and pineaple cake). Owners were very helpfull with a lot of knowledge of Big Island. A place to go !!

Quirky and friendly, least pretentious B&B we've ever visited. Owners have built and decorated the B&B themselves with lots of local art and a random collection of furniture. Loved the shower.
