We just returned from an incredible vacation where we stayed at the ML Terrace A202. While the Terrace looks a bit dated on the exterior, we chose this place because it is centrally located on the ML Resort near the hotel, the Beach Club and the market. Our unit was nicely remodeled with a well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels,... More

I must say, I've stayed many times at the ML Terrace over the years, but this is the first time I've written a review. In reading other reviews that are of a not-so-glowing nature, ok bad reviews, they seem to stem around two issues. One of those two issues is also mentioned of the ML Hotel, when it receives a... We just returned from a 10 day stay at unit H302 at Mauna Lani Terrace. Here are some words that describe the unit and the location - breathtaking, stunning, fabulous, amazing, perfect! We rented through VRBO so knew what we were getting - a beautiful updated unit in a class by itself. When the property manager met us at the... More

The condos are targeted to the senior citizen croud. It's OK for adults to be loud in their conversations while sitting on balconies but it is forbidden for a child, or adult to express joy at the pool or anywhere else on property. There are multiple signs on edge of the pool as a reminder to keep quiet. Any pool... More

General: I have stayed in several units within Mauna Lani Terrace. They are older, larger in sq ft, and vary greatly in quality of their furnishings. Accept the fact that you are paying for the location - a great base in South Kohala. My experience during our 2-week stay in K202 was a 4/5 rating, but the little things (described... More

My partner and I stayed in G-201 (one-bedroom) this past week at the Mauna Lani Terrace, and overall, we had a great experience. Usually we stay in my parents' unit—J104, a two-bedroom—but because we were there with extended family, my father rented G-201 for us without knowing the owners or the unit. Pros: - Clean, well-maintained, and obviously the owners... More

When you rely on websites to book properties, you take the chance that it looks better in pictures than in person. Not so here! It was a beautiful property, our condo was perfect, the view even better than the pictures and the people at the rental office were helpful and kind. Renting a condo is so much better than a... More

This is a review of D302. We usually spend a week or two on Kauai at a high-end condo complex. This year we waited too long to book a two bedroom so decided to go to the Big Island and revisit some of our favorite places in all of Hawaii. We were very very happy with this condo. 3br/2.5ba and... More

We booked this through our travel agent because we wanted a place where we could cook with our teens and not spend the earth. We found ourselves in a large condo with two bedrooms and 3 baths. Our teens split the king/twin bed and happily shared a room with "separate" bathrooms for privacy. The master suite was great with double... More

This is a review of Mauni Lani Terrace and specifically unit K301. The area: On the Kohala Coast, this site is located just south of the Mauna Lani resort. The resort is keypad protected and right on the beach. There are three nicely protected lagoons for use here. The pool area has a hot tub and several barbecue grills. The... More
