We celebrated our 22nd. Anniversary at this B+B near Hilo (where we used to live). Great place to just get away for a few days...listening to the wind, surf and birds (fortunately the coqui population has been kept away!). Daily breakfast menu cooked to order with fresh selections from the Hilo Farmers' Market. Personal touches upon arrival (a printed Aloha... More

I definitely love this place. Every time I go to Hilo, this is the place I would like to stay. Great ocean view from my patio. Staffs there are friendly and helpful. B'fast are delicious, and made from local food. Room is spacious and quiet. Easier if you arrive at day time as the entrance is not very visibly at... More

This small inn is in a beautiful setting, with spacious,, well appointed rooms. The balcony, Jacuzzi and gas fireplace all added touches of luxury. The staff were helpful and friendly. Just a few minor complaints: we stayed over Christmas and they provided no breakfast or housekeeping on Christmas Day. There are no places to eat nearby. The breakfasts were good,... More

We spent 2 nights there in November and loved every minute of it! Our room was fabulous, very nicely appointed, and with a jacuzzi in the alcove- pure luxury ! The staff was very friendly, most especially the chef Alyssa!! Not only did she prepare the most delicious breakfasts and served them with a great smile, she also answered any... More

What a great find. Large rooms with whirlpool tubs, all overlooking the Pacific Ocean, this B&B is a lovely respite from a day's touristing, hiking and other activities. Each day starts with a filling, delicious breakfast. Staff are Aloha friendly without exception, and its just a quality facility. The only caution I have is about the safes in each room.... More

We loved this beautiful inn with its wonderful service and breakfast. Alisha, our cook and server provided us with a delicious breakfast and was most accomodating. We would go there again in a heartbeat.

We spent four nights at the Palms Cliff House Inn and enjoyed all of them greatly. The location is lovely, with a full view of the bay. Our room was room #6 - second floor-with AC. We did use the AC at night, mainly because of humidity (you can't have the lovely rainforest setting without it!). the room had very... More

After two days of hiking in Volcanoes National Park, the Palms Cliff House was the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy the fabulous room we had (Tropical Dreams #3), and the view from the lanai. Unfortunately tropical storm/hurricane Ana was being very unpredictable and we had to cut our visit short. The location of the Inn is not... More

Remote is good for those who like privacy. Remote is not good if you don't have a rental car. The Palms Cliff House Inn is just what you would expect in a B&B. The three days we were there we never met the elusive owners, but their staff was excellent. The young lady that prepared and served breakfast was the... More
