What an amazing B&B! My husband and I stayed here recently (in the Li'ol'io room) for 3 nights during our honeymoon and will absolutely be back...no doubt about it! We were looking for a place off the beaten track so we could have a few peaceful days to relax and that's exactly what we got. The property is gorgeous...we strolled... more

the accomodation, staff, and breakfasts are first class. The evening get together for wine and canapes was most enjoyable and if you did not want to drive out to eat afterwards there were frozen meals for you to prepare yourself in the kitchen You pay for these or you can bring in your own food and cook on their gas barbecue. Some people might... more

Waianuhea is an exceptional B&B located just a few minutes from the Big Island town of Honoka'a. On the east side of the Big Island, the area is cool and lush green. The building and grounds are beautiful and meticulously maintained. Every member of the staff is a joy to be around, and each is dedicated to creating an outstanding... more

Both my wife and I have travelled the Hawaiian Islands alot. Waianuhea is tops on our list for accomodations in the islands. Our stay at Waianuhea was absolutely fantastic. The quality of our room, facilities and grounds was top notch. The staff was extremely friendly. Both the complimentary breakfast and evening wine/appy hour are great ways to start and end... more

What a GEM! The food is unbeleivable with a special wine hour at 5:00. The property managers are friendly and super helpful. This place oozes with peace and quiet. They spared no expense in revitalizing this property. The hot tub is brand new and the grounds are stunning. There is a huge common room with elegant art work and a... more

Our first four days on the Big Island were spent at Waianuhea, and what a great choice. Personable staff, terrific and well presented breakfasts, a lovely wine and hors d'ouevre hour and a beautiful setting were perhaps THE highlight of our varied 16 day Hawaii adventure. Looking in one direction from their property will give you views of Mauna Kea,... more

This place is incredible. The house and grounds are beautiful and guests are invited to make themselves at home. Each room is decorated impeccably with the finest furnishings and linen. The staff are very warm, helpful, and friendly. The breakfast and the wine hour hors d'oevres were delicious. Every effort is made to insure the comfort of the guests right... more

Waianuhea is located on the northeast side of the Big Island. It offers a climate that is cooler and greener than Kona, which is a nice change. It is quiet and has a view of Mauna Kea that is spectacular, especially in the morning as you are eating breakfast. Mauna Kea had snow on it when we were there in... more

We stayed on the Big Island for 14 days and travelled around the island, staying at Bed & Breakfasts' along the way. Our last 2 nights were at Waianuhea and luckily we chose the best for last. It is set up the hills off of a small town on the ocean (East side of the Big Island about 40 miles... more
