The innkeepers were very friendly and the dogs were kept outside while we were there except when we asked to see them. They did let us know ahead of time they had dogs, so partly our own fault. Our daughter loves animals, so it was fine for her. But husband does NOT, so was difficult for him. If you really love dogs and a very laid back atmosphere, it will be the place for you. The yard is beautiful with typical (and some not so typical) Hawaiian flora. Cleanliness was so-so, but I'm pretty particular. A good breakfast was served, but was not enjoyed as much as it could have been due to the dog hair and smell. more
