The room we had was massive and very comfortable. There's an amazingly pretty communal area outside too. Thankfully the plumbing is rock solid, because with all the fresh fruit Steve serves for breakfast, it needs to be! Only thing worth considering is that it's a few miles out of town and a car is required to get into Hilo. More

We stayed here for 5 nights while we had family orientation at U of H @ Hilo where my son will be a freshman. Steve and Su are just wonderfull, warm people to have as hosts. Our family of 3 spent 3 nights here and easy could have stayed longer. Our huge room with two beds and refrigerator was great.
