Hidden 10 minutes outside of Hilo (use the directions, not GPS!) , this Inn offers a relaxed and quiet place to stay. The rooms are smaller than the cookie cutter hotel chains, but it was spotlessly clean and well maintained. My Lenai overlooked the falls, which were pretty impressive from all the recent rains. There is no air conditioning at... More

Great spot in the hills above Hilo. Very peaceful and relaxing and good base to visit sites in the area. A bit confusing when arriving as there wasn't anyone to check us in. Everything is self directed by the welcoming board and the keys are in the door except for one couple's. The breakfast cook was very informative the next... More

The confirmation email was very clear; it included directions to the location, how to find your room. The road leading to The Inn was 4 miles and the speed limit 15mph so that made for long travel out/back but the signage was good. The area was beautiful. The fall was as great as described. Very romantic and well worth the... More

First of all, this place is definitely worth visiting. The prices are fair for what you get. The setting is gorgeous and there are short hikes on the property that are well thought out and delightful. That said, here are the drawbacks AND some of the plusses: 1. It is a rural setting and difficult to find, especially if you... More

This place is simply amazing. Just a short drive from downtown Hilo takes you to the most secluded and beautiful B&B in the middle of the rain forest. Definitely an “our secret hideaway” type of place and it feels as if you have the place to yourselves. Because we arrived at night, our first look at the property was at... More

As we planned our trip, we wanted to experience a secluded place in paradise and we found it! Although remote, the directions sent with the confirmation email, were perfect! The Orchid room was exquisite, both the location and the furnishings. We slept each night listening to the waterfall! Our breakfast each morning was prompt, delicious and with a smile. The... More

Just moved to Kona area~ wanting to explore Hilo area, we found this to be magical with the Falls right on the property & breakfast eggs to order! Stayed in the Princess room, quiet, loved it. Will be back hope for the sun next time! Falls here are just as good as Rainbow Falls or better!

My wife and I found this "treasure" thru a small ad. We checked out their web site thoroughly. Folks, this is a B & B located high up the hill in the dense foliage and overlooking Hilo. The drive goes thru 2200 macademia nut groves and a one lane street. The Falls are magnificent and much bigger and more beaiutiful... More

The location is beautiful, there's no denying that! But I felt like I was trespassing. When they say "check-in is informal" what they mean is: there is NO check-in. That's fine, but sat what you mean. A family lives at this house and I didn't feel like a welcome guest. I felt like they were letting me contribute to the... More

What a lush setting! And the falls were beautiful ... Overall, we loved it. The room was entirely acceptable with a little balcony overlooking the falls. Breakfast was "ok" ... not bad, but nothing spectacular. But the best part was ... the adventure of finding the darn place in the dark ... and it was pitch black ... and it... More
