This Inn is in the most beautiful and relaxing setting imaginable. You sleep to the sound of a gorgeous waterfall on the property, to a cacophony of tree frogs. The waterfall has a lovely swimming hole where you can swim and kayak (and note, safety first - the proprietor requires staff be present, to serve as a lifeguard.) The property... More

What a beautiful place tucked away from the town. We stayed in the Pagoda and really enjoyed the space and the surroundings. The grounds are truly beautiful. The Pagoda is right by the falls. We went to sleep listening to them. Just like your own soothing sound machine! Lenny the owner is very sweet and helpful. The other employes are... More

This is a wonderful place to relax and refresh. It is a few miles out of town, but it is worth going the few next miles You will be happy you chose to stay there. There are waterfall and trails to enjoy.

Imagine having a waterfall right on your property! We drove south on Hwy 19 to see the waterfalls, including Akaka Falls, before reaching Kulaniapia & decided we could have skipped the other waterfalls. In fact, we enjoyed the property so much we didn't bother visiting Rainbow Falls the next day. Instead, Laura, the manager, took us down to the waterfall... More

The Inn is a beautiful 10 minute drive from the hustle and bustle of Hilo. There are three completely separate buildings nestled amongst the trees and foliage on the property so that you feel you are an estate. Each has several bedrooms with their own bath and all the advantages of being in a house that you have complete access... More

We stayed a single night but the ambience was wonderfully peaceful! We awoke to birdsong and the roar of the waterfall. The room/bathroom was pristine and the bed comfortable. Breakfast consisted of eggs/waffles, homemade breads and juices and lots of fruit. There's a lovely garden with some exotic bamboos and places to see/hear the tropical birds.

The accommodations are like a spa hotel, but the atmosphere is friendly like a B & B. We enjoyed talking to other guests late into the night on the screened in porch. The owner visited us at breakfast, revealing all sorts of sustainable solutions he has implemented on his lovely piece of rain forest. He generates electricity from the waterfall,... More

Set in the scenic ambience of the waterfall this place offers a warm and caring atmosphere created by the staff. Ideal for relaxation. I enjoyed the complimentary yoga class as well as own practice on the SUP by the falls.

I did an online search and just happened upon this place. It had good reviews but not much info that I could find. I took a shot and I'm so glad that I did! We got there very late so it was dark and we really couldn't see anything until morning. It was a long, winding, road with a moderate... More

Unfortunately we were only able to stay here for one night but it was a great experience. Going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the waterfall was amazing, something we'll always remember. We drove to the Muana Kea Observatory that evening and were happy with the close location to that and the convenience of getting back on... More
