The site for this bed and breakfast was breathtaking. The Inn sits on multiple acres of gorgeous tropical landscape containing a gorgeous waterfall, swimming pond and trails winding among beautiful bamboo trees and a variety of flowering plants. Because the rooms had no air conditioning, it was a bit warmer than we prefer, but with the windows open we had... More

It's taken me far too long to write this review however.... Last August (2014) my boyfriend and I flew into Hilo from Oahu on the day that hurricane Iselle hit. On arriving at the accommodation we had booked we found they were evacuating and didn't fancy staying on a gym floor. We got online and found a The Inn at... More

This place is incredibly beautiful. It is one of those places you want to cement in your brain and go back there when you need a happy place to think of. The falls are majestic and the foliage just takes your breath away. Lenny, the owner, is incredibly kind and so is his staff. The breakfast is delicious. The rooms... More

We stayed at The Inn at Kulaniapia Falls for four nights in early June 2015. I had decided to stay in Hilo this time, rather than Kona, because I prefer the lusher, less touristy windward (wet) sides of all the Hawaiian Islands. I chose this place based on the location, and the beautiful photographs of the property. Happily, we were... More

I stayed here my last night of living on the island for a year. The room was nice and I could here the falls as I slept. There were nice snacks left on the bedside table and the breakfast included macadamia nut waffles. The best part of the inn of course was the secluded water falls. I swam with two... More

We stayed a week at The Inn at Kulaniapia Falls celebrating our anniversary. We could not have picked a more picturesque and peaceful place. The bed was very comfortable (a must for us). The breakfast was delicious. Our favorites were the fruits and the macadamia nut waffle. The coffee was the best, grown right there on the mountain. Len Sutton... More

May be the best place we ever stayed. Beautiful grounds and amazing water falls and hiking paths. Very well kept and Len the owner made us feel right at home. Breakfast was excellent and staff was great. We will be back and stay longer next time on the island. Pagota House was very nice with the best views on the... More

Stayed for a night and wished we had stayed longer The falls are very pretty and the surrounding area is lush and green Nice to be a little higher and cooler than down by the bay We were a little concerned about sharing the house with others and found that they were all very quiet Lovely decor and fresh breakfast... It's a nice drive through farms to get to this unique B&B. The decor is the room was a nice touch ( Asian themed furniture/bedding ) and we had a glimpse of the waterfall. The room is adequate; however if you require a television, kettle etc this is not the place for you. Admittedly the pillows were hard as rocks... More

This was the first stop on our 3 week Hawaiian vacation. The property is beautiful. The trails to the bamboo garden and the waterfall are beautiful. We had the hibiscus room. The bed was comfortable, and we had a nice patio on the ground floor so we could enjoy pre-breakfast coffee in the morning. The property is secluded and about... More
