Following the inns kipper instruction it seems that it takes forever to get there but it's about 7 minutes drive from the city. The inn is beautiful. With great views of the fall. We went down for a swim and wondered through the bamboo trail. So tranquil and graceful. Breakfast is nice some fruits and an omelet don't expect more... More

Probably the most beautiful place we stayed at during our trip. From our room we could see the amazing waterfall. The sound of it is quite relaxing when going to bed and waking up to sunrise was amazing. You can see the ocean perfectly. The staff was very helpful with making suggestions on where to go or what to do.... More

The Aloha radiates from your arrival through your departure. This Bed and Breakfast is an honest Gem, The property is a botanical wonderland. The waterfall is mother nature at her finest. You can view, hike, listen and swim in the experience of the Falls. My husband and I hiked and explored to our hearts delight. It is so peaceful and... More

My new hubby and I decided to spend our last night here and I was saddened by our choice of staying just one night. The drive up was peaceful and when we arrived at the inn, we were delighted with the views and the laid back sensation from the atmosphere generated here. The room was clean and overlooked the waterfall... More

My wife and I really enjoyed the ambiance during our two night stay at the B&B. I have to save Melissa was outstanding as our Innkeeper. She was incredibly cheerful and happy every day along with providing great recommendations for activities. The grounds were well kept and we stayed in the harmony house. The room was a tad on the... We were a little concerned before arriving as we had read some not very complimentary reviews about the Pagoda recently. We really had nothing to be worried about. The location is stunning, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the Pagoda is an absolute delight. It's very well equipped, clean and everything works perfectly contrary to some earlier reviews.... More

There are not too many nice places to stay in Hilo and this place was a nice escape from town. The location was beautiful and peaceful. We wanted to like it. When we arrived our name was on a board outside the building telling us where our room was. We went up and found the key in the door. The... More

The Inn at Kulaniapia Falls was a fantastic place to start our honeymoon! We chose it to find a good location close to both the Mauna Kea Observatory and Volcanoes National Park, while still close to town. After reading reviews, we were intrigued by the lure of rooms overlooking waterfalls, so we booked the Maile Room in the Harmony House.... More

The drive from Hilo to the Inn is a pretty one and just a few miles on a paved road which takes you through macadamia groves and palm trees. As soon as we drove into the property and stopped we could hear the waterfall. It is absolutely beautiful as are the grounds. We were greeted by one of the friendly... More

We found the place so peaceful last time we visited Hilo that we stayed again for 3 nights. Still an excellent retreat, quiet, peaceful, serene. No AC in room but it was not needed - overhead fan (quiet), gentle breezes, waterfall providing natural white noise. We were in the Harmony House again but upstairs this time - Pikaku room. It...
