It's a lovely, comfortable house - a home away from home - and Robyn cannot do enough to make your stay comfortable and your time on the Big Island interesting. And that is on top of the sublime breakfast she prepares every morning using local ingredients and products! Hire a kayak to get over to the Captain Cook monument for... More

We finished our vacation to Hawaii with a visit to Kealakeua B&B. Robin and Huxly treated us like Royalty. We had wonderful accommodations. Made with local honey, vanilla, fruits and vegetables, and of course Kona coffee ensured delicious breakfasts. The home is open, inviting, quiet, beautifully landscaped and the view of the bay and sunset are impeccable. A wow place!... More

We started our Hawaiian vacation here at the Kealakekau Bay B&B. Great pre-visit correspondence with innkeeper Robin and then the B&B and Robin totally exceeded our expectations. Views, food, the Ali'i Master Suite, that wonderful tub! Huxley the dog, Dorcey the Duck, Robin's customized breakfasts, her tips on local great places - all very fantastic! SO BIG THANKS to Robin... Though TripAdvisor doesn't offer online prices for this accommodation, if you want a true slice of paradise, pick up the phone and make that call to secure a reservation. It really is that good After our previous disasterous experience at a certain inn in Hilo, we were ready to call it quits and forfeit our deposit with this inn. I... More

This place is fantastic. I have never felt more at home while traveling, and been so sorry to leave. The Ali'i Suite is both simple and luxurious, and extremely comfortable. I listened to the waves gently rolling in the bay and I've never slept better. The views are incredible every way you look. Emily was a wonderful, friendly hostess. She... More

Amazingly beautiful accommodations in the Ali'i Master Suite, just as described on web site. Emily, the innkeeper, made wonderful breakfasts each day and had good recommendations for things to do. Easy walking access to the Kealakekua Bay. Definitely off the beaten path in the best of ways... quiet (except binds and nature) and not touristy. I'd definitely stay again!

We had an amazing stay here! The estate was absolutely beautiful and located away from all the tourism. It was very peaceful and authentic. It is near the Captain Cook snorkeling spot and the Painted Church. Also, along the road to the B&B, you will find fruit and lei stands. You can purchase some fruit and store in your mini... More

This amazing spot of paradise is top notch all the way. The setting is simply spectacular with a panoramic view of Kealakekua Bay and Captain Cook Monument. If you want to snorkel the big island, this is the perfect spot with easy access to both Captain Cook and Two Step; two of the best snorkeling spots in the islands. The... More

My husband and I visited here for Memorial Day weekend back in 2011, but I was just thinking about our wonderful stay the other day and decided it was time to finally write a review. Every morning, our awesome host Emily whipped-up absolutely delicious breakfasts with fresh tropical fruit and delicious coffee. She gave us binoculars at the breakfast table,... More

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights or our 40th wedding anniversary and 60th birthdays. We have stayed at about 20 B&Bs and our room (Ali-i Master) was the best ever -- very tastefully decorated and comfortable. Beautiful views from the room. Room was not cheap, but worth every penny. The room surpassed most 5-star hotel rooms (at least... More
