This guesthouse is a great place to stay. It is located in Captain Cook, and is conveniently located close to the coffee plantations along Kona. The owners and their pets are super friendly. Brian & Holly are always there to share their advice on places to see, eat, etc. The breakfast is fresh fruit picked right off their own tree... More

Aloha! Thank you for the kind words! The Captain Cook Suite does have a shower we are sorry you did not see how to turn it on. Also you were on our neighbors internet, the signal is weak but it will connect. Our internet is Belken and is very strong property wide. Hope you come back again we enjoyed hosting... More

Brian and Holly are wonderful people. We felt warmly welcomed, as if staying with old friends. we made mistake of staying longer in Hilo, where it rains a lot. Next time, we would book the whole time with Holly and Brian, who have the perfect personalities for managing a bed and breakfast. They have a beautiful house, tiki bar, and... More

Had a wonderful time! We stayed in the Captain Cook Suite. It was very comfortable and quiet. Brian and Holly were wonderful hosts, sharing great tips for beaches, shopping and sight seeing. They recommended a fantastic snorkel beach near their home and also provided us with snorkeling gear and beach towels, and a cooler. Holly breakfasts are awesome. We especially... More

Brian and Holly are excellent hosts and very laid back and welcoming. I felt like I was staying with friends. The property is a little difficult to find so keep an eye out for the American flag by the driveway entrance. They have two friendly dogs and a cat or two. The property is very clean and well maintained. I... More

We were really impressed by the Tiki Wa Guesthouse. It is nestled in the perfect little spot on Big Island - close to two bays ideal for snorkelling and resident dolphin swimming; surrounded by coffee plantations and shops; short drive away from Kona, but far enough away for those who like quieter holidays; within driving distances to Volcanoes NP and... It was far more than I expected in hospitality, value, location, and quality. The house and property is located near great snorkeling and close enough to town to make the drive easy. It sits on the mountain side so the cool breeze keeps the house at a perfect temperature. The two hosts, Brian & Holly, really helped me fall in... More

We had one night that we needed lodging and Tiki Wa had a room. Brian and Holly have done a beautiful job with their B&B. Comfortable bed and huge bathroom in the room we stayed in. There was a sleeper sofa to accomodate our son and plenty of room for the 3 of us. We arrived after dark and loved... More

My wife and I have stayed at the Tiki Wa Guest House a couple of times and each time has been a new exciting adventure! We have found a Jackson chameleon and have had fresh fruit every day that came straight from the property! Their location is terrific to gain access around the island. Holly and Brian are the best... We only staid for one night, but would have happily stayed longer - very nice location with fantastic views, clean rooms, close to amazing snorkelling at 2step, friendly and helpful hosts. They even offered to store our luggage and take a shower / change in the evening the day we checked out - a godsend considering our late flight back... More
