We had an amazing stay at the Aloha Guest House! The room was perfect : quiet, nicely furnished and very clean. The lanai is great to relax at night. The breakfasts prepared by Svetlana are delicious and it is very pleasant to discuss with her, Lee and the other guests in the morning. We strongly recommend this b&b and definitely... More

First, I understand that some folks will see the negative reviews and have some doubts, but the reviews of this place should be understood as BLS, and ALS; "Before Lee & Svetlana", and "After Lee & Svetlana"! I say this because if you look at the reviews pre-2012, which is when Lee and Svetlana acquired the property, it's a very... More

Arrived in the evening and braced ourselves for the drive up to the guesthouse in our car that was not meant to go 'off-roading'. It is definitely off-roading and took us a reliable 22 minutes to drive up from the main road to the guesthouse but we were being cautious in our non-SUV car. The drive back down is more... More

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay at the Aloha Guest House with Lee and Svetlana as our hosts for 2 nights at the end of our Big Island vacation. Everyone agreed that we wished we had stayed longer! Breakfast was incredible both mornings and carried us through most of the day. The avocados and fruit are right from... More

When my husband and I arrived at the Aloha Guest House, we were welcomed by Lee who showed us around the property and to our room. He also introduced us to Svetlana who was in the kitchen creating the menu for the next day's breakfast. Both Lee and Svetlana were welcoming, friendly and gave us some great suggestions for where... The Aloha Guest House is a feast for the eyes, stomach, and spirit. Every detail has been considered to provide its guests with an unforgettable stay. We loved exploring the garden, seeing coffee bushes, macadamia trees and nuts, lillikoi vines, mangos and avocados. The chickens followed us around....who knew chickens were so friendly? But the best part of our visit... More

Finally a bed and breakfast that does a real breakfast! This is not breakfast in the sense of 'continental' or 'traditional cooked' or cereal and milk - this is home grown, healthy, inventive food shared around the kitchen table with the hosts. Awesome. When you travel and pay to stay somewhere nice, you expect the surroundings to be impressive -... More

My wife and I decided on a second honeymoon on the Big Island and this couldn't have been a better place for a romantic, quiet, welcoming, delicious stay. The breakfast is absolutely amazing with most everything on the menu grown right here on the property. The rooms are unique and feature breath-taking views of the Kona area and the ocean... More

My wife and I stayed at the Aloha Guest House in April of 2015 and we had a wonderful stay. With stellar views, clean rooms, and awesome breakfasts, the Aloha Guest house is one of the best bed & breakfasts we have stayed at anywhere. Lee and Svetlana are the best and were even gracious enough to give us a... More

We stayed two nights in this little piece of paradise and had a fantastic time. The breakfasts are AMAZING, thank you Lee & Svetlana, made with local produce and eggs gathered on the property from their own happy free-range hens. The views are simply unbeatable. We has zero problems with the driveway in our little economy rental car. We would... More
