There are no TVs. Depending on which room you are in, the Internet connection differs from poor to adequate. Don't expect to get on the Internet at night. I worked in the morning hours before everyone was awake (5 am to 7 am). The hotel is very clean. I love the fish pond with colorful poi. The sheets are changed... More

This place is not for everyone. It's run by the third or forth generation Japanese family. Really, really nice people. The rooms feel more like what might be experienced in a "private room, shared bath hostel". That is at least the front part of the hotel. Clean, simple, and older. I shared the shower with a bright green salamander. It's located... More

Convenient location with easy access. Rooms are basic with no television and thin walls but clean with excellent views from the balcony. Entire staff is friendly and made me feel right at home. Nice restaurant serving excellent home cooked meals, especially the fresh fish. Large proportions at a decent price. Rooms are priced right for what you get. Good base... More

We meet friends from Seattle for 3 days. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and did I mention reasonable. We did lots of snorkeling near by and the coral reefs were amazing. Lots of fish and turtles also saw some dolphins. The restaurant was very good and reasonable it was so good we ate all or meals there. It... More

Good, fairly clean, friendly staff. We extend our stay to 2 nights. Despite the front building being on the main road our room in the back was very quiet with great views on the ocean. Cleaness; carpet in a room without AC under the tropics is never quite inspiring. But we would stay there again as the location is good... More

My daughter and I stayed 3 nights. We flew up from Oahu for my son's graduation. I was referred by his dad to look into staying here bec it's close to where they live. It worked out so perfectly for us! Our hotel room didn't have several amenities that others offered but we were there to visit family so we... More

Read the reviews, so just "had to stop by". This historical place is very quaint and smelled of smoke. We walked through the restaurant~the food is served "family style". Wanted to try the pork chops, but because it was our "last meal during our vacation", we chose instead to go to our favorite fresh fish find one more time!

We aways make sure to eat at least one meal at the Manago Hotel Restaurant. The food is fresh and cooked to perfection. At the start of each meal they bring a platter of several salads and a big bowl of rice to share with your group. I have difficulty deciding on the items on the menu, and the helpful... More
