I can't not say enough about this place. It was amazing. When I made the reservations a short few weeks out, it was to take a trip for my father who is dying. Most places wouldn't wave the fees for having to cancel but we weren't sure my father would make it to the date of our trip and these... More

We camped here with two other couples for a Yellowstone vacation. We had originally tried to stay in Yellowstone but we didn't make reservations out far enough and therefore the campgrounds were full. This park definitely met our needs with full service and spots large enough to accomodate our large fifth wheels. The scenery was nice because we were close... More

Glad you had a good time. Yes we are in a high desert location which isn't conducive to growing much of anything including trees but the flip side of that is we have the best summer weather in America with very moderate temps at a mile high, low humidity and almost no mosquitos. That's the trade off. When you add... More

Maybe all rooms are not remodeled because we loved our stay here!! We are a senior couple with lots of experience with various lodging sites! This measures up well and we stayed a week! The western motif throughout is fun. Rustic. Beautiful selection of artwork & country-western throughout. Good value for the region's pricing. And amazing to have so many... More

First the good things. The breakfast offered with the room is excellent as are all of the staff. Now the undesireable things: No telephone in the room, the bedside lights are mounted at least 6' from the floor, no chair or hangers in the room, no signal for TV and management did not answer the request for service. The air... More

Sorry we didn't meet your expectations. We have only one room where the AC units were mounted kind of high as there was no where else they could go and be out of the way. They do come with remotes but apparently you didn't fined those. The room you stayed in was designed about 50 years ago so it does... More

Well traveled senior couple here - just back from this region, and picked this inn because of others' reviews, and the high prices of hotels in Cody. The other reviewers must have never had experience with really good hotels, because we highly disagree about the quality of the motel part that we stayed in (never knew that there were individual... After so many glowing reviews this summer we were shocked by this one. We do not embellish our 60 year old facility in the least. We post pictures of our rooms so customers know what to expect. As this writer says we were the cheapest rate within 40 miles of Yellowstone in any direction. The rate she paid was through... More

Campground was great with very clean private bathrooms, Excellent restaurant for dinner or buffet breakfast. Also, much fun in the bar for weekend Karaoke with Randy. Only 18 miles form downtown Cody WY in a picturesque setting of mountains all around the campground. Nice pool and hotub.

We were booked for three days in a cabin with our dog, Riley. Our friends were in the RV park. Perfect place to be for visiting Yellowstone or Cody. My birthday was during these three days,my husband had purchased champagne to be in the room. This didn't happen. No problem, the staff apologized and it was a soon forgotten Starting... More

Awesome cabins with very comfy beds, also very clean. The view in all directions is breathtakingly beautiful. The staff is also very courteous and friendly. Would definitely recommend and hope to make it back sometime.

I want and can't wait to visit again!!!! Yellowstone Valley Inn was such a great place to stay. Not only did it have breath taking views but it also had great service and the friendliest of staff. The office attendant was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and especially yellowstone park, and her husband was right on the ball about... More

This isn't a five-star luxury hotel, or even a modern low-budget business hotel. It is a wonderfully old-school country lodging. Given the comparative price of really sketchy-looking places in Cody, this is an absolute bargain! The staff is friendly and personable, breakfasts are not overly elaborate but are excellent (no powdered eggs here! and really good biscuits!), and the cabins... More

You know I don't think anyone ever described our resort better. Thank you so much. You really nailed it. We're an old facility and you can't build anymore of these out here due to new zoning regulations so we are constantly rebuilding, replacing and remodeling this old girl to make it a better facility. I had a friend ask me... More
