This is a Holiday Inn Express, and yet the staff made us feel like we were at a Four Seasons. They greeted us with waters and some little chocolates, were extremely friendly and helpful, and they even had snacks out in the afternoon, a lovely spread of cheese and crackers and chips and salsa. The room was very clean. As... More

This was a VERY plesant place to stay. The staff was very accomodating and friendly. The room was immaculately clean and then cleaned again every day. The breakfast was quite nice and I was happily surprised at the "managers reception" in the afteroon. While I didn't use the indoor pool facility, it was quite clean and well maintained looking. I... This hotel was great. We had to stay here because there was a funeral and power outage in the neighboring towns. The hotel is across from train tracks and still charge big city prices in a town that has nearly 2000 people, at most. I enjoyed the stay, I just wish it was less expensive.

Outstanding night desk people when we checked in. Jessica was just fantastic, over and above in every way and Carrie was really great too. They made the stop here worthwhile by themselves. In the hotel is probably the best available in the Torrington area. Typical HIE, was clean, comfortable, but only room available at a reasonable price was a double queen... More

This was probably one of the best hotels in Torrington. We had a very nice room and the staff was very nice. I think the price is a little high for Wy, but otherwise it was fine. The rooms were very nice and very clean. We would stay there again if we go through Torrington.

We stopped here on our way back to Denver from the Black Hills as it is the half way point. The hotel was clean and updated and the staff were friendly. It is located across the street from the train as other reviewers mentioned, but the town is so small that I don't think it would matter much where you... More

Request a room on the north side of the building!!! The train tracks and the main road are on the south side and you will hear the trains ALL night. You can still hear them from the north, do I can't imagine how loud they must be. The room was updated and had nice bedding, flat screen tv, fridge and... More

I'm a platinum member with Holiday inn, This is a nce hotel with an above average staff. But as several reviewers mentioned the trains are noisy. Do you remember the train scene in "My Cousin Vinny" ?. Not quite as bad but the results are the same. Unless you are a heavy sleeper, you will be awakened several times during... More

The staff, hotel and almost the rest would make this a nice hotel. Except you will need to love trains. The hotel is next to the railway and we stayed at the railway side. Every hour throughout the night a train will pass whisling the horn heavily. Fortunately there wete earplugs provided although it did not help me for at... More

We were traveling from Denver to Mount Rushmore and planned to stay overnight in Nebraska. Alas, we called the hotel in Nebraska where he had planned to stay after we drove through Cheyenne, Wyoming. The hotel was booked, it was dark out and we were in the middle of nowhere late at night. We were desperate and ready to settle... More
