Spent two days in Thermopolis. Was on a cross country trip and needed a couple of days to recharge, do some laundry, and rest. Was on a motorcycle trip. Checkin person was friendly enough, but I refuse to let anyone "copy" my drivers license. There is no legal reason or justification for this. I have no problem showing them for... More

Keep in mind, we love well-run family motels, particularly those with vintage charm. This place has the vintage without the charm. Pros: Location convenient; wifi included; very clean room with plenty of towels; pleasant staff. Cons: poor ventilation unless you count the badly fit windows and doors. Outdated electrical. Big closet but it stank and made our stuff stink too.... More

I hate to leave a bad review since the lady in the front desk was so nice to us, but we paid $100 for one night. This hotel is nowhere near worth that amount, but it was midnight and it was the last room in town available, so we were desperate and they took advantage. I agree with a previous... More

This room was not even worth $20 a night, let alone $100 a night! We feel like the owner is literally committing highway robbery. This business will be turned in to the Better Business Bureau. The ceiling was water damaged and the bathroom had no ventilation to the outside. To its credit, the swamp cooler worked well.

We found the room very clean, air conditioning worked great and the owners and manager were extremely friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed our visit!! We would stay there again. With clear directions we were able to find our way around town. The motel location was easy to get to.

As we travel, we look for the best reviewed inexpensive places. Rainbow Motel is clean, there were plenty of towels and the beds were compfy. They didn't serve breakfast :(. However, the price of their "suite" was a bit high. Unfortunately for us we were drawn by the great price of the single and fell prey to last available and... More

Yes, this is an old motel. It has been remodeled (probably a few times). It was very clean and cozy. The cooler worked fine and the gas furnace was outstanding. The bathroom was spotless. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is not someone, on staff, there all the time. The manager is there in the evenings and she is... More

More like a Motel. Friendly manager. Clean rooms but a bit cramped for two people. Hubby said his shower water was not hot but mine was fine. Wi fi and tv worked well with a comfy bed. Street noise can be a bit loud but it didn't wake me. Don't plug in the fridge if you are not using because... More

The owners were very kind. The place was spotless and we traveled with grandkids and the room was a mini suite. So the kids had their own room. We made popcorn in the microwave. We had spend the day at the waterpark so it was great to relax in separte areas. It is an older hotel but the beds were... More

I stayed here in the "suite" with three queen beds and 5 grandkids ages 2-12. I would NEVER stay here again. When I made the reservation, the owner told me that this room would be fine for staying with grandkids. First off, the little desk that kept the coffee pot etc had mouse excrement in the drawers; then the room... More
