This was just a GREAT place to stay. The staff was friendly and our cabin was large, beds were soft and the tv worked great. The property was well kept and above all is was CLEAN... I will tell every one to stay here.

Staying at The Round Top is awesome. Large rooms at a fair price.. the room we stayed in was clean. The location is right off highway 20. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would strongly recommend the motel to families . Stay here we loved it!

Thermopolis is full of run down hotels and motels, terrible campgrounds, and sad restaurants, as well as bitter, downtrodden hospitality workers. For some reason the combination of astounding natural beauty and amazing hot springs has never added up to a good tourism industry for this town. I am not sure why that is. I last reviewed the Roundtop in December... More

Their was rodent crap all over cabin #8. It was late when we went to go to bed so no one was around in the office. Thank god I had my own blanket in the car. I pulled back the sheets.to go to bed and there was poop pellets all over. I slept on top of the bed with my... More

The manager was very warm and friendly and seemed to really want to make our stay as good as possible. Our cabin was simple and a little run down, but it had everything we needed, including a kitchenette. One minor complaint is that the internet only worked on our front porch or in the part of our cabin closest to... More

We stayed here based on the tripadvisor reviews. Unfortunately, Jim, the manager, was away so I think we missed part of the charm of the motel. It's a $60/night motel. The bed was very comfortable (pillowtop). There was a large mini frig in room with ample freezer. The decor was sparse, the shower dripped, the sink was loose, and there... More

Three of us stayed in one of Jim's cabins this last September for an antelope hunt. While I agree with some of the reviews, I want to express how much we enjoyed ourselves. Jim ensured we had plenty of clean towels and the hot water was plentiful. If you are looking for a Marriott, then I would go to one.... More

I am a fan of small motels, but not this one. The carpets were filthy with tar and had large streaks of white carpet fresh to hide the stale smell. The pillow cases smelled like greasy hair and beds spreads looked old and dirty. Jim the guy at the office was no where to be seen the rest of the... More

My situation was unique when I stayed at the Roundtop Motel for 3 months in the winter. My previous couple of years had off-the-charts stress, and I was moving back to Wyoming, after being gone for over 3 decades. Much has changed since I last was here. I booked my stay through AAA, and had originally planned to stay at... More

I am amazed at the previous reviews for this hotel. 4 and 5 stars? If you give this old hotel five stars, what do you give the Marriott or Hilton, or even the comfort inn? I did not have a good experience here. I called around noon of the day I wanted to check in, driving from Rock Springs. I... More
