Very quirky hotel as the outside is covered with fantastic carvings of bears in a variety of poses. Totally fascinating and could look at them for hours! Very pleasant staff on reception. Room was fairly old but with personality - lovely heavy wood carved tables and lamps. It also had a big fridge and microwave, and it is situated next... More

My daughter and I went to Thermopolis for a mini vacation/swimming. I tried to budget so this is where we stayed. For a mom, lugging our suitcases and cooler up the narrow stairs was a chore. ( I knew ahead of time that there was a small frig. and micro so to save $, we brought breakfast and lunch items.)... More

Absolutely DISGUSTING! Room was dingy and outdated. Sooo not worth the money. Bathtub was stained, carpet needed to be completely ripped out replaced. So gross and dirty everywhere. Hairs on the "clean" bed. I have nothing good to say about this place. I felt like I needed to take a shower after leaving. Spend extra money to stay someplace nicer.... More

We stayed there in July after looking for a place on-line. The web page was minimalist but we were only there for the night and took a chance. We are very glad we did. The owner and staff were very welcoming and helpful as soon as we rolled in and invited us to the office for coffee in the morning.... More

I was a bit skeptical about staying here because the price was so low and I had read some negative reviews on Tripadvisor. How nice it was to walk into a large two bedroom unit. This was roomier than any of the high priced places we stayed on this trip. Everything was very clean. Linens were nice. Yes, the motel... More

We stayed one night on our way to Yellowstone. Our room was definitely no frills, but it was clean and comfortable. Our boys liked the bunk beds. The bathtub/shower wasn't in the best shape, but it was clean. The antler theme gives it a unique character. Good value for the price.

For the price things need to be renovated as soon as possible. Tubs were peeling crack everywhere people were friendly but that doesn't excuse the poor condition of the room for the price. The outside is cute and quaint but again the prices need to change for what you get.

Convenient location but on the main road through town so there is traffic noise. Friendly front desk person. Inexpensive but units are very dated. A/C unit very noisy and old. I finally put earplugs in my ears and took a sleeping pill. Bathroom was in very poor condition - the grab bar was broken off, the handle on the tub/shower... More

I was initially taken aback by the room rates in Thermopolis, especially during the slow fall season. While I usually stay in chains because they have more predictable quality standards, this time I took the reviews on Tripadvisor to heart and stayed at this independent local motel. I loved it! The decor was rustic and attractive, and the bed was... More

Stayed here in mid-Sept 2013 and was very pleased. We were concerned about noise as the hotel is right on the main street, but it was super quite. The hotel is cement block construction, which really cuts down on the room-to-room noise. The bed and linens were perfectly fine, very clean. There was a small fridge, coffee maker, microwave and...
