At first glance is not a bad hotel. It has a rustic feel. Then if you look closer you might not like what you see. The light is covered in cob webs, the windows are missing screens, the shower window had mold, the A/C sounds like a cat is being punished periodically throughout the night, I have slept on rocky... Thank you for taking the time to review our motel. We appreciate knowing the things that you didn't like - so that we can take care of it. We are doing upgrades and are looking to be finished by May, so I hope that you check us out again and that your stay will be more pleasant. More

As an innkeeper at The Branding Iron Inn, Dubois, WY, I know first hand what it takes to run an inn. This inn is tastefully decorated with bears, elk horns, and other decor fitting to it's name, with clean, comfortable rooms that are an excellent value for the price. I would heartily recommend this inn as a good choice for... More

Very quirky hotel as the outside is covered with fantastic carvings of bears in a variety of poses. Totally fascinating and could look at them for hours! Very pleasant staff on reception. Room was fairly old but with personality - lovely heavy wood carved tables and lamps. It also had a big fridge and microwave, and it is situated next... More

My daughter and I went to Thermopolis for a mini vacation/swimming. I tried to budget so this is where we stayed. For a mom, lugging our suitcases and cooler up the narrow stairs was a chore. ( I knew ahead of time that there was a small frig. and micro so to save $, we brought breakfast and lunch items.)... More

Thanks for your honest assessment. We want to make our guest's stays pleasant and accommodating. We would have been happy to help you with the suitcases and cooler, or would have put you on the bottom floor if you had asked. We are in the process of updating our rooms, floors, bedspreads and bathrooms. We would have given you another... More

Absolutely DISGUSTING! Room was dingy and outdated. Sooo not worth the money. Bathtub was stained, carpet needed to be completely ripped out replaced. So gross and dirty everywhere. Hairs on the "clean" bed. I have nothing good to say about this place. I felt like I needed to take a shower after leaving. Spend extra money to stay someplace nicer.... More

We stayed there in July after looking for a place on-line. The web page was minimalist but we were only there for the night and took a chance. We are very glad we did. The owner and staff were very welcoming and helpful as soon as we rolled in and invited us to the office for coffee in the morning.... More

I was a bit skeptical about staying here because the price was so low and I had read some negative reviews on Tripadvisor. How nice it was to walk into a large two bedroom unit. This was roomier than any of the high priced places we stayed on this trip. Everything was very clean. Linens were nice. Yes, the motel... More

We stayed one night on our way to Yellowstone. Our room was definitely no frills, but it was clean and comfortable. Our boys liked the bunk beds. The bathtub/shower wasn't in the best shape, but it was clean. The antler theme gives it a unique character. Good value for the price.

For the price things need to be renovated as soon as possible. Tubs were peeling crack everywhere people were friendly but that doesn't excuse the poor condition of the room for the price. The outside is cute and quaint but again the prices need to change for what you get.

Convenient location but on the main road through town so there is traffic noise. Friendly front desk person. Inexpensive but units are very dated. A/C unit very noisy and old. I finally put earplugs in my ears and took a sleeping pill. Bathroom was in very poor condition - the grab bar was broken off, the handle on the tub/shower... More
