The hostel is a great option for those watching their budget. It really was considerably cheaper than any other options in the village and very well located. The rooms are basic but very clean and we were pleasantly surprised by how warm and comfortable the bed was! Whilst a king bed was lovely, I wonder whether a queen would be... More

Thanks for taking the time to comment on your stay at the Hostel. Although a minimal frills lodge in a traditional ski lodge style building, we take pride in offering affordable, clean rooms with daily housekeeping service at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. We will keep in mind your unique suggestion to offer queen beds in lieu of... More

The Teton Village hostel offers everything you could want in a Hostel. Clean and comfortable rooms (including your own bathroom), a place to cook, free coffee and great hostel banter. Staff are very friendly, location is perfectly between the two main pubs and only two minutes walk to the base of the tram. Loved my stay, will be back.

Our first experience in a hostel. Personally, I thought the place LOOKED haunted. The lights were so dim and the place was dark; the bed squeaked even with the slightest movements, reminded me of a scary movie in the woods. You really do get what you pay for...

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about your stay. We do pride ourselves on offering an affordable option relative to the other hotels in Teton Village in all seasons, and all other Jackson Hole hotels in summer. I regret that the lighting was not what you were expecting. Since purchasing the Hostel in 2008, we have been... More

Affordable, honest, friendly and in the center of it all. Wow, it has limited cooking facilities, very clean and easy going. A great place and lives up to the name hostel. I will come back and stay there again, if I get the chance.

I stayed here last winter with 4 friends. We took up 1 room and had a "roll away" for the 5th person, which was actually just a mattress on the floor which we thought was funny. We were always out skiing and going to dinner/drinks so we were rarely in the room. This was perfect for us, as the price... More

We spent Christmas in Jackson Hole, as part of a two-week, four-resort snowboarding trip through the US and Canada. We had to keep an eye on our budget, and chose to stay four nights at the Hostel. I was not expecting much at all, but I was pleasantly surprised when we got there. We had a king-size room with our... More

Okay, why the low rating well the room I stayed in was a dump. It's actually located in the complex that makes up the Jackson hole ski resort. This was during a summer visit to Grand teton national park and this was about the lowest priced lodging closeby and it was still on the high side. To give you an... More

The first thing that really bothered me is when I arrived after 10 and was told that the kitchen was closed and I couldn't make my dinner. The front desk guy did bring me a plate and silverware on request but I had to throw out the fish that I'd just bought. When 11:00 PM hit, I was told that... More

I was traveling alone and it was fun to stay somewhere that was more communal and rustic. My private king room was basic (no tv, phone, clock) but clean, and the staff was helpful. There was a small table, night stand, hooks on the wall with a few hangers, and a storage chest that I put my suit case up... More

We stayed there because it was the only place we could afford--this is definitely a place for the very rich. But having stayed in a number of IH hostels that were a pleasure, I expected more than this place offers. The rooms are dark, the windows open onto a wall. The "kitchen" is two hot plates in the laundry room,... More
