We stayed in the Alpenhof Lodge. Ours was not a skiing vacation, but general sightseeing in the Park. The Lodge was comfortable, well kept with a very friendly staff. We could not find a hotel or lodge with vacancies in Jackson so we went to Jackson Hole. Room cost us $165, not the dearest in this location. We had a small room, but it had everything we needed. Very friendly and helpful staff; upgrades apparently given to repeat visitors. Free wifi. Good German restaurant; excellent breakfast. Stayed here for 6 nights and was pleased with the homey ambience and well-maintained facilities. Felt more like a B&B than a hotel with rustic touches throughout. While well-furnished, the rooms had some dated amenities like the 80s era clock radio and a slightly troublesome toilet. Clean, though not recently updated room. Incredibly comfortable beds. Fine free breakfast. Take the free tram up the mountain for food and drinks in the evening. more

My family stayed last night at the Alpenhof, and we were very impressed. The service was great, and the room large, clean and comfy. The highlights of our stay were the free ski lift ride up to the top of the mountain with it's fantastic view of Jackson Hole, and the Alpenhof's delicious Free Breakfast. more

From the moment we arrived at the Alpenhof, we felt right at home. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed talking to him during our stay.
