My wife, my two daughters, and I needed to get away for a night. The mountains are a great way to do this. We rented a 2 bed cabin at Deer Lodge Haven. I had stayed there once before as a kid. Horrible choice. I have allergy induced asthma. We had been up in the mountain all day and went... More

Accommodation was totally unacceptable because: Bathroom was outside in separate building; it was FILTHY & insufficient lighting. There was NO mattress cover on the bed; bedding looked wrinkled; we had to sleep in our own sleeping bags on top of their blanket which was also flecked with dirt. There were mice in the cabin which kept us up all night... More

My brother, sister and I were traveling with our Dad when our vehicle broke down 1/4 mi. from Deer Haven coming from Cody. We managed to pull into their parking lot before our radiator completely cracked. Don and Jeffrey are truly awesome people! Jeffrey took our brother down Big Horn mountain to pick up our RV and get a radiator.... More

I had read the reviews and was a little hesitant to reserve a room, but places to stay on top of the Big Horns is limited unless you are camping. I have to say we stayed in the motel it was clean although the price of $139 is a bit high for no TV, fridge, micro. With that being said... More

My family and I stayed there the weekend of July 12th and 13th and had a wonderful time. The hotel room was just what we needed, and very nicely decorated! Comfortable and clean rooms all around. The restaurant was just as pleasing, we ate there everyday and were never disappointed. Very good food! The staff at the lodge was a... More

We arrived at Deer Haven for a 4 night stay after spending the week before in Yellowstone. We had one of the 2 queen motel units for $129 per night. We knew that they had been recently renovated. The room looked a little shabby when we first arrived but we didn't mind that as long as it was clean. We... More

My husband and I have been going to Deer Haven Lodge in the beautiful Big Horn Mountains for 38 years. We came from Omaha the first couple of years snowmobiling and then moved to within a 45 min. drive of Deer Haven. When the present owners opened the doors after they purchased the lodge and had done extensive remodeling I... More

We were invited to a weekend of snowmobilling at Deer Haven from a friend who is from the area. He had a large cabin reserved that easliy accomodated 7 of us. The cabin was rustic which was fine. The bedrooms were sparsely furnished but the bathrooms were clean. However, there were layers of dust under the beds and couches. No amennities... More

We drove 10 hours to go snowmobiling in the beautiful Bighorns! After finding Deer Haven on the internet (the pictures looked awesome) & being told about all the renovations when we called, we decided it would be a good place to stay! When we got there we went into the cold lodge through a squeaky, tin-covered door to pay for... More

We were charged 89 a night for the "rustic" cabin. It was in terrible condition: smelled like natural gas from the heater, threadbare carpet, the porch had soft spots in the wood, fluorescent shop light for the light, and a separate bathhouse with no exterior lights..for almost 100 per night. When we asked to see the motel room it was... More
