I thought it was over-rated and over-priced for what you get, just a regular room, which they told us was brand new, didn't seem like it and the sliding patio door stuck, didn't work right, air conditioning didn't work that great either. it was "Motel 6" quality, but way over-priced, I guess they jack up everything for the bikers coming... Drove right past it because The sign on the advertisement was barely visible and the very old neon sign was missing letters. GPS took us to a different hotel. Regardless when I called they assured me there were new beds and paint and it was nice. Showed up, got to the room and it was musty smelling. Possibly new uncomfortable... More

Nothing exciting, but a decent stay. No clock in the room except on the microwave, one of the beds creaked loudly every time you rolled over (loud enough to wake others). The room had a tile floor with a little entry-type rug between the beds. Sheets and towels were clean. The place just needs a little updating and care. Seemed... More

We checked in and our door lock wouldn't work. The desk attendant recoded them 3 times before she called for maintenance all the while we were walking back and forth across a hot parking lot each time. She offered us a free drink in the restaurant/bar attatched to the front desk area. We didn't eat there but it was a... More

Made reservations 2 months in advance to stay here after a concert with another couple. We were able to check in but were told the room was not clean yet which was fine as we would be busy most of the day. Once we were ready to drop off our bags we had to go back to the front desk... More

We were some of the only ones staying at the motel, but were given the non-refurbished room, it was musty, had dirty toilet, definitely overpriced. Heard through the grapevine that the rooms behind the first set are actually the remodeled ones, did not see those as we checked out as soon as possible in the morning. The restaurant was good... This motel is in Historic Sheridan and gives you historic charm with up to date immenities. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and The food at the Firewater Grill was amazing and the breakfast was a deal that couldn't be beat. The few trains that came through can be noisy but not enough to wake me up.

The room was okay, but I just had a feeling it was not as clean as it could be. We stayed here on our last night of a 2 week trip through Yellowstone and Black Hills, so I had many places to compare it to. The pool was totally enjoyed by son and he thought the bed was very comfortable,... More

Motel is older and drive up to your door kind - love that for motorcycle trips. The Firewater Grill menu was very creative and the food was really really great! We ate there 2 nights and were very pleased. Suggestion: a gluten-free bread option. Strange deal for the morning meal - all the "chock full of gluten" items are free,... More

Stayed 1 night while passing thru Sheridan on vacation. The motel is old and definately needs upgrading. The bathroom was clean, but very small. It was difficult to even find a place to put a shaving kit somewhere other than on the floor. The room itself was OK, but seemed a bit high priced for what you got. Staff was... More
