Where to begin... From the moment I spoke to Rebecca (Office) and asked her more than a million questions there was little doubt that The Hideout was the place for celebrating my dad's 70th birthday; it was my gift to him and it had to be near perfect. She was patient, insightful, and really a pleasure to talk to. The... More

The Hideout has two operations: hospitality and equestrian. Both were top notch extraordinary. My husband, 15 year old daughter and I stayed for a week and were transported to another world. It was a true escape, well worth the $ and the time, which can be dearer than $! Usually our daughter misses her friends on family vacations and looks... More

When the details of another trip I was planning for my nieces and nephews became too overwhelming, The Hideout was the perfect solution. I couldn't help but include both of my brothers and their wives. The nine of us range in age from 10 to 62. Each and every one of us had the most perfect time. Everything about this... More

My family and I recently returned from a week at the Hideout. The trip included my parents, my husband and I, and our boys 9 and 13. It's not easy to plan an adventure-type vacation for three generations but this one was a hit. I wasn't sure how the horseback riding focus would go over with my parents. I was... More

I recently returned from a beautiful May vacation at the Hideout. They matched me with a sturdy little tank of a BLM mustang named Blacky. He was the ride of my life. Steady, safe and light as a feather to gentle cues. He was their best ambassador. Riding a mustang made me appreciate these amazing once of kind animals. They... More

My husband and I could not have been more pleased with our first stay at the Hideout. The location is stunning. The food was excellent. The staff was attentive and friendly. The bedding package in our cabin was very comfortable. Although we are newer to riding, the wranglers ensured that we never felt insecure but loved every minute of our... More

Beautiful lodge and rooms, the people are wonderful in making sure all your needs are met. I'm highly impressed and will recommend this place to all photographers I know. The wranglers work so very hard to get the pictures of the horses running in the snow, the cowboys in the right position, or whatever you possibly would like to photograph.... More

The Hideout is one of those places you hope exists. And it does. My husband and I stayed here for four days for some of our honeymoon and it ticked almost every box for us. We were both brought up with horses (the English way! which we were mocked for incessantly while we were there...) and we had always wanted... More

Just wanted to let anyone looking to go on an Outstanding vacation, the Hideout is the place! The scenery is very diverse and all of it is beautiful. I loved the small group because you really get to know everyone. The food was delicious, every day... Even the sandwiches for the all day rides. The cabins were great, all with... More
