Me and my buddies recently stayed at the Medicine Bow Lodge for our annual snowmobile trip to Wyoming. As always we had a great trip. Tim and Debbie are the best. Feel more like family than Hosts.. Great food. Cabins are cozy and the main lodge offers a big flat screen, wifi, pool table, etc. I have been visiting here... More

Our family stayed five nights at Medicine Bow Lodge after Christmas and had a marvelous time! We snowshoed, went snowmobiling and just hung out by the fire. The meals are awesome and all homemade. Tim makes the best cinnamon rolls and Debbie makes some of the best desserts! We felt at home and most welcomed. Our rooms were nice and... More

The area was beautiful. The main lodge was beautiful, meals were spectacular, hosts were great, friendly, and knowledgeable. Cabins were cozy but filthy, no clean towels unless you asked, trash emptied 1 x, and someone's cabin door was left wide open by who ever came and took trash. Very disappointed in cabins:(. The driveway was very narrow, and bumpy damaged... More

We recently had a snowmobile club weekend ride at the Medicine Bow Lodge. It was the first weekend in March. I had heard great things about the property and it was all true. Tim, Debbie and their staff were awesome! The food is homemade and delicious! They even prepared wraps for us to take for lunch. The rooms are warm... More

I live in Indiana and took the trip of a lifetime to Medicine Bow Lodge in Saratoga WY. The Bishop family and all the staff were extremely nice to me. This was the trip of a lifetime for me. I probably won't be able to do another trip like this one. I actually got to ride up the side of... More

I was one of 4 adult chaperones for a Girl Scout High Adventure Trip with 14 high school girl scouts. Tim, Debbie and the entire crew were really nice folks and so accomodating to us. They made sure that all 18 of us got a lot of riding time in on a schedule that worked for our group. The lodge... More

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Medicine Bow Ranch for a week this past August. Of all the places we could have vacationed, the boys wanted to do the "Dude Ranch" thing. Well it turned out to be one of the best experiences we have had. The owners Tim and Deb were wonderful, as well as their... More

We recently returned for an unbelievable father-son trip to the Medicine Bow Lodge, that included four fathers and five sones (ages 14 through 18). Tim and Debbie coordinated all of the details of our trip, which consisted of a two-night camping trip to Phantom Lake. We enjoyed beautiful (and very authentic) horseback rides to and from the campground (3.5 hours... More

Our adventure at Medicine Bow Lodge met all our expectations and we are planning a return trip. Our hosts, Tim and Debbie Bishop, and their staff were excellent - friendly, professional and helpful. The food (freshly baked bread and cookies to gourmet dishes for lunch and dinner) and service were exceptional and the accommodations very comfortable. The horses were a... More

It's not a ski resort in Vail, it's a dude ranch. The lodge is decorated very nicely with more of an open concept. The cabins are on for your bedroom and bathroom. All your meals and everything you do us either at the lodge or outside. My kids really enjoyed horseback riding, playing in the snow, and helping make bread!... More
