This motel is the last of the town's original motels. Totally upgraded with modern heat, television, cable and Wi-Fi. Large parking areas for your snow mobiles and ATV's. Friendly service and very clean rooms. Walking distance to natural hot springs. more

Please heed this warning!!!! My group stayed at this "hotel" for a hunting trip. As you can imagine, we are hunters, we are not picky. We have stayed in local hotels literally all over the country. However, this place took the cake. This exciting adventure began with our group having to purchase our own toilet paper and take out our... more

Second to worst place I've ever stayed, from our travels that span from Wyoming up to Maine! The room was FILTHY and the mattresses were stained and gross. The blankets my kids wouldn't even use because they found hair embedded in them. It was really bad. I have never written a bad review and try to give hard working folks... more

We stayed here a few years ago, and it was so-so, but the Sage & Sand is under new management. They seem to be working hard to put things back into order, and they seem to be succeeding. The staff went the extra mile to make our stay pleasant ... we will definitely stay here again. All this doesn't mean... more

Motel was nice, close to town pools... owner even let us use his new grille to have cookouts every night. this motel is older but fits the feel for a small town of 1700. if you have teenagers ask for rooms 4 or 12, can't beat the price. close to the river and free hot springs pools... more

While we were traveling in Wyoming, I called ahead to book the Sage and Sand Motel for a very resonable price. Upon arriving, I found that the motel had overbooked and they didn't have a room for us there. The owner, Robert, took it upon himself to call and book a room in a larger, more expensive motel down the... more

We were planning a weekend get away, we had never been to Saratoga, even though it is only 150 miles from where we live! I started my search on the internet, was unable to find rates via the internet, so I started making phone calls. I only called three of the motels in Saratoga, The Sage and Sand was my... more

We were looking to stay in Saratoga, WY as a part of our trip cross country because we wanted to enjoy their famous natural hot springs. There aren't many hotels / motels in Saratoga, but we ended up choosing the Sage and Sand because it was the closest proximity to the hot springs (about three blocks) and its cheap price... more

Price was best in town and the managers are working hard to up grade all the rooms. New bath towels are nice and fluffy, offered us older towels to take to the Hobo baths. Sharon & Charlie more
