This was an interesting experience. It's full of contradictions. You get the impression from people who live in Wyoming (but aren't from Wyoming) that this is the classiest place in Saratoga, if not one of the best places to eat meat in this area of Wyoming. As a person raised in France, this immediately implies you must respect the food,... More

We were staying at the Saratoga Hot Springs Resort and their limited menu left us wanting more. We drove a few blocks to the Hotel Wolf Restaurant and walked in the front just before dinner time (we'd already eaten) and the place was EMPTY. The only thing missing was the tumbleweed. In spite of having no patrons, the woman at... More

The Wolf hotel is a cozy historical hotel with lots of charm. The restaurant on the main floor has excellent food and a friendly atmosphere. There is a great little shop next door to the hotel called lollipops, it is great for breakfast.

We stayed in the hotel, which has a lot of character, including bathtubs with handheld showerheads and no shower curtain. My girlfriend and I, both professionals in our mid-thirties, took sit-down showers while sitting in the tub using the showerhead. Without a shower curtain, it is hard to avoid some water spilling on the floor, and while I was showering... More

If you are able, stay in the executive suite. Two flights of stairs, but very cute and good price. Eat at the restaurant and get the prime rib. Our waitress bailed, but we still had excellent service and the food was superb. Salad bar was fresh, and soup was excellent. Cheesecake is homemade!! This was the last day of our... More

With most of the hotels around Saratoga being about the same price, we chose Hotel Wolf because it seemed like it would be fun to stay in an authentic old west-style inn. I think if our room had a shower instead of the really cool clawfoot tub, and if it had come with shampoo and few other amenities like that,... More

Travel back in time to 1893 but with modern amenities. Very good prime rib. The bartender makes a great vodka martini. Stayed in the "70's style two-room apt. ste". Super spacious and comfortable beds with nice pillows. Will look to stay in one of the other suites next time, and there will be a next time. If walls could talk,... More

The Hotel Wolf has a plethora of history. There are pictures of "the olden days" on the walls, creaky staircase, and rustic rooms. The charm of this place is terrific as the owners worked really hard to capture the original ambiance of the building. The bar has a lot of character and can move you back in time by a... More

This was my second visit to restaurant at Hotel Wolf. I highly recommend the bone-in rib eye with the sweet and spicy rub. I love the atmosphere, it's like going back in time. From their website: In the early 1970's the Hotel Wolf became listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Since then, the rooms have been remodeled to... More

My boyfriend and I booked a room here for one night on our motorcycle weekend and were really glad we did. The hotel is historic and we were worried that that might mean run-down too but it is immaculate. We had room #19 on the top floor and loved the sloped ceilings and views looking down the street. It was... More
