Found the Hotel Wolf while planning our family vacation to Wyoming. We generally like the charm of staying in historic hotels with personality over the cookie cutter chain hotels. We were not disappointed with the Hotel Wolf! The innkeeper/bartender let us choose from the available rooms. We chose a 2-room suite on the 2nd floor. A large bedroom, with two... More

My wife, Penny and I stayed at the Wolf Hotel on Halloween night. It was for our 18th wedding anniversary. Very old hotel and cozy ! Staffs were friendly. Wolf restaurant offered an excellent food. EASY COMMUTE ! We enjoyed walking around in Downtown Saratoga. Great shopping, fishing, and hot springs pool ! We will be back next year.

The building has character but is certainly showing its age. We stopped by for lunch after having been lured to the area by some of the most over-hyped marketing messages ever encountered. In short, it is not worth going to Saratoga unless you're using it as a base for hunting or fishing. In any case, the hotel served some really... More

I was planning to drive all the way home that day but got a late start and after about 9 hours in the car I was going through Saratoga toward the end of the day and I decided not to drive the next 2 hours after dark at a time of year when a lot of animals are on the... More

What a cool hotel!!!!! Thomas Edison would take the stagecoach from Laramie to stay here. The old west happened here, and it's been preserved, you really feel like you've stepped back in time. My favorite steak in the entire U.S. I lived in Omaha for 20 years, and have eaten at the best Steakhouses from Chicago to L.A. to NYC... More

We stayed at the Wolf Hotel on 9/6/15 and were pleasantly surprised! The rate was great, the upstairs room was small but clean, good lighting, ceiling fan (no a/c- but none needed), coffee maker, and the location right on the "main" street in Saratoga near the hot springs, river, etc. was excellent. The hotel and restaurant are not "open" on... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Wolf which was established in 1893 on what appears to be the main intersection in Saratoga, Wyoming. We stayed in room 20 which had room for six, a sitting room with a fold out bed, and two full beds in the bedroom. The room was clean and nicely decorated, but not without... More

We stayed two nights. We stayed in the Basic Room #1, there was lot of room with two queen beds. They were very comfortable. The weather was hot so we had to sleep with the windows open. There isn't any AC. The hotel is on the Main Street, so you can hear the traffic. Hotel management was very friendly. Would... More

The hotel is clean and has a certain amount of old charm but plan on hearing every bump, creak, and bar fights from across the street. The bartender is one of the rudest individuals I have ever dealt with. The wait staff acted like they had never waited on more than one table at a time. Slow service is an... More

The Wolf hotel is a cozy historical hotel with lots of charm. The restaurant on the main floor has excellent food and a friendly atmosphere. There is a great little shop next door to the hotel called lollipops, it is great for breakfast.
