Expensive for a gravel parking lot with no grass or trees. Staff was friendly and enjoyed talking to them. but facilities are not good. Wifi was pathetic we stayed 1 night in the way to Yellowstone. Did have laundry and a old pool which was ok at best

We came here last night to stay overnight in a kamping kabin. The place is nothing like the website makes it out to be. There are only two bathrooms for the whole site, other than main office. These two single bathrooms have the showers within them. This means if two people are showering, you have to wait or run to... More

Had we researched this KOA we would have probably stayed at a rest area or Walmart. It is a field of gravel, rocks and mud. The store was more overpriced than your average camp store. Not a tree on site that I seen. Not easy to find at night. Located in an industrial area. By looking at the website I... More

Despite the gravel sites and lack of grass and trees, we thought Rock Springs KOA was functional and adequate for our one night stay. Highway noise was an issue, but we tuned it out. Our greatest disappointment was on the morning of our departure when we were essentially accused, by a staff member, of not checking in the previous evening,... More

We stayed at this KOA for only one night and found it comvenient with a very helpful, friendly woman at registration. We did not make use of any facilities as it rained heavily as soon as we arrived. Good views from campground.

We only stayed one night and it was OK for that. All gravel sites, not very attractive but functional. Would not have wanted to spend more than a night however. We were guided into our site, which was right by the highway, and it was so tight that because our neighbor had his awning down, we could not open our... More

We stayed here a couple of nights. The weather was very nice though we were surprised by a bit of a chill in the morning. The sites are mostly gravel. There is very little grass, but then again you are in the desert. I was able to do some nice hiking in the area behind the campground. It was very... More

A campground on gravel, no trees, no nice surroundings, next to propane or gas tanks. But KOA standards, nice pool, clean showers and toiletts, very nice and helpful hosts. We enjoyed the Rodeo there, that was superp and an unforgettable event!

Wandering the western US I pulled into Rock Springs on a hot July evening and fortunately the KOA had a tent spot (deluxe?) for $35. The clerk worked in a discount down to $30 and I set up in a nice space with under cover table, nice grass, power available and better yet fencing for privacy. The bathroom/shower was large... More

First of all let me say that I didn't actually stay here, so this review is on first impressions only. We tried to book ahead but couldn't get through to this site, and I'm really glad as when we arrived we just turned round and drove on. It's like a great big car park with picnic tables, just off the... More
