This site is situated next to four or five massive fuel storage tanks...nestled right beside the very busy i80, and a very busy freight railway line. Didn't' sleep a wink all night because of the constant noise. Just a bare gravel car park. Only went there to see the advertised wild horses......staff say a fence was installed years ago so... We often stay here on our annual trip to the Denver area. We usually stay at KOA's because you know what to expect--clean campground, friendly staff and, and nice restrooms. We get that here. The fact that there are no trees or grass is a function of the location--a hillside in dry Wyoming with a lot of wind. The wifi... More

KOA is our last choice when no place else is available. While this is a nice clean park, and better than most KOA's, it is definitely not an RV Resort and not worth the price. All gravel and noisy. At least the sites are flat, an amenity rarely found at a KOA. I'm sure if you like a nice camping... More

This campground is located on the far outskirts of Rock Springs, a block or so from the highway. There is constant traffic noise of vehicles speeding by, but no sound of screeching brakes or honking. We turned on a bedroom fan and did not notice the highway noise while we slept. There was no noise or rowdiness from the campground... More

Expensive for a gravel parking lot, $42. I needed wi-fi so that's why we stayed. Asked for a space near transmitter and still really slow. Husband said his bathroom didn't have enough stalls for size of park, women's was ok but old. Thank goodness it was just over-night. Oh yeah, view was big tanks!

We were satisfied for just an overnight. Would not like for a longer stay. Staff friendly. All gravel property. No trees or green. More like a parking lot. Pool Ok, small. Views of oil tanks or hillside.

To reiterate previous reviews, don't expect more than an expensive parking lot. We paid a quarter shy of $40 for a stop over with water and electric only. Wi-Fi is complimentary which was our main interest. When the WiFi didn't work, and we were already set up, we were informed that if we left with in an hour of check... More

Convenient location, right off I80. Basic gravel lot and tight spaces. The restrooms were clean and there was a small pool. We stayed two nights because we wanted to drive the Flaming Gorge Loop and the Pilot Butte Wild Horse Drive (which both were excellent). This would not be a destination RV park for us, only a passing through stopover.

Easily accessed from the I-80, wide sites with picnic table. Gravel is the base for the whole campground unless you book a 'super site' which would really only be worthwhile if staying longer than one night. Full hook ups available, can pull in and stay hitched as the pull through sites are genuinely pull through! Warmly welcomed; clean pool; clean... More

This is our last night of our trip and we had an excellent stay. Our first night we stayed in one of their little cabins, just right for us. Clean and comfortable with a full bed, bunk bed, desk with chair, TV with all kinds of satellite channels. The last couple nights we stayed in our tent. I have to... More
