The Ferris Mansion was a beautiful Victorian home decorated with actual memorabilia from this home's past, We were the first to arrive and got to view all of the guests rooms-each one as lovely and unique as the previous one. Each bedroom was large, filled with antiques, elegance, history, plenty of windows, and plenty of privacy with adjoining private bathrooms.... More

We stayed at Ferris Mansion on the first leg of a trip to Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Black Hills, and the Badlands. Our flights were scheduled to arrive in Denver around midday, and we decided when planning our trip to drive halfway to Jackson, WY -- about four hours, which was Rawlins, WY -- rather than stop after only an hour... We booked the Mansion because we wanted something different from the hotels we had been staying in. The mansion was just what we needed. Clean, comfortable, quiet and friendly. It is within walking distance to 3-4 restaurants. We stayed in the room that had the two twins attached. It worked out great for our group of three. The main bedroom... More

We needed to split up our road trip and found this B&B in Rawlins as a nice stopping off location. We stayed in the blue room. It was a nice mixture of antique elegance with modern day convenience. Loved the tub! Breakfast was great. Whitney was our hostess, she shared the history of the home and made us feel welcome.... More

What a wonderful bed and breakfast. What a gracious hostess. There wasn't one thing wrong with the whole stay. It was absolutely perfect. I'd go back in a heartbeat. We'd been at the Best Western in Rawlins before and it was nice. But for the same amount of $$ this was over the top. Dinner was at Buck's. A great... More

You must stay here! Fabulous! We spent a week traveling to the Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Wind Caves, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, and Rocky Mountain and wouldn’t you know we couldn’t stop talking about this place. I have a design background and wouldn’t have changed a thing – everything was perfectly Queen Anne and so clean. You will not be disappointed!

We stopped off at this bed and breakfast on our way to Denver from Jackson. We booked in advance having read excellent reviews on trip advisor. It would be fair to say that Rawlins has seen better days. It is a run down town. However this bed-and-breakfast shines like a beacon in its surroundings. The owner Kaye-Marie is a great... More

Hubby and I came to Rawlins due to a family emergency. I was a little hesitant on booking at the Ferris because I was afraid of privacy issues but I am really glad I did. It is family run, very well kept, just an absolute beautiful little gem in the midst of a rundown town. The rooms were quiet, no... More

This is a lovely home that has been well restored and maintained. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms are beautifully decorated. This B and B far surpassed our expectations. The owner is an engaging and charming hostess who is eager to share the history of her place.
