We have stayed at this hotel twice and it is nice. I think they are in the process of remodeling and the new rooms are nice. The rooms with outside access are very nice to have, if you can get one. The beds were nice new pillow tops. The rooms were clean with nice new coffee makers. I just think... more

Best Western in Rawlins WY is the best hotel in town for under a hundred bucks (not much under it). The hallways smell old and are kinda dark and dank, but my room was fresh and new, with great linen and an awesome TV. I slept like a log. The breakfast takes place in the old restaurant, but is a... more

this was the fourth hotel we stayed in during a cross country family move with kids and pets. Hotel staff was pleasant and everything was certainly clean. Hotel was obviously updated a while ago and signs of the orignial property show through in many places. Maint on the rooms seemed to be lacking, wall plugs falling out, TV not working,... more

Out of 14 hotels on our 3 week road trip, this was the most expensive and the least appealing. We were surprised at how dumpy this hotel was compared to other hotels on our trip that cost much less. To begin with, our room was on the back side of the hotel, at the far end of the building from... more

Rolled in (past the construction detours) quite late, prepared to pay the $129 we were first quoted. The front-desk lady had no non-smoking rooms but dropped our rate to about $90...hotels in Rawlins are VERY expensive for no good reason. The room was clean and there were Bath & Body Works toiletries...slept too late so didn't try to complimentary breakfast.... more

Splendid. Absolutely splendid room. After a 500+ mile drive, the room was a little bit of heaven: spacious, exceptionally clean, well maintained, with an excellent bed, bedding and amenities. Check-in/out were swift and smooth. The staff was cheerful and welcoming. The two things that keep this from being an excellent review are: 1) lack of elevator for lugging the luggage... more

The hotel is undergoing some renovations, so there's just the hint of a mess in one or two places. And the kitchen provides only a light brunch in the mornings. But the staff at the Cotton Tree makes up for any other shortcomings. They are cheerful and always willing to provide top notch service. If you're looking for 5-star accomodations,... more

Nice place. Currently being remodeled, but did not disturb our stay one bit. The pool was the highlight of this stay. The in-house restaurant was also very convenient and good. more

Not Motel 6, but not too much better. On the other hand, there may not be much better in Rawlins. Two pluses: free internet acess and coffee available from 4 a.m. Keep your expectations in check and you won't be too disappointed. This is strictly a place to hang your hat for a night in the mddle of almost nowhere.... more
