Sleep on the street, but not here! Rooms smelling of cigarette and wet dog. There are no power outlets. Toilet was loose. At the reception, during checkin, a spider descended from the ceiling. There were moths in the room. The sheets and pillowcases shall not be washed, had mold in them. In the morning, the exhaust from cars that are... More

The Econo Lodge in Rawlins is not well maintained at all. Shower leaks/sprays onto an ELECTRIC wall-mounted heater. Wiped the water off the top of the heater along with black dirt. Floor in bathroom dirty also. Towels and wash cloths are dingy looking. Extremely uncomfortable mattress. Door didn't fit properly. Same rolls in the office in the morning as when... More

This would get a -3 to -4 in every catagory. The place was dirty, snow not shoveled off the walkways, room was cold and draftly, the "breakfast" was a joke the manager barely understandable and otherwise off the chart unpleasant.

The Choice Hotels website for this property looks nice. It looked like their other properties which have always been well maintained and we have enjoyed our stay. It appears they have not inspected this property in ten years as it is in disrepair, dirty and upkept. Luckily I got there in time to cancel my reservation with no penalty.

From the moment we walked up the outside stairs (carpet completely worn through) to crossing the threshold into one of the dirtiest, ill-maintained quest rooms I have ever stayed in it never got any better. The heavily perfumed room deodorant was obviously used for a reason. The carpet was so dirty I didn't dare remove my socks. The mattresses were... More

My night was fine. The wi-fi worked great, the shower was clean and the floor was vacuumed. My only complaint would be the beds were very uncomfortable. Reminiscent of sleeping on the train's beds. That being said it's fine if you're traveling the road and just looking for a place to stop for the night.

It is no exageration that it was the worst hotel we have ever stayed at in the entire continent of North America. It was unvacuumed, with threadbare sheets, dirty fixtures, overflowing garbage in the hallway, and odors of the foulest kind. It was the only place I could find with a single room for a large family, but I've learned... More

Oh how I wish the guy who booked this room for me had read the reviews first. Most were spot-on. Room smelled bad. Carpet was dirty. Bathroom was dirty and decrepit. Motel was advertised as "pet-friendly," but in fact the only place for a pet to relieve itself was a garbage-strewn and weedy precipice -- dangerous for dog and handler.... More

Non-smoking room? Only if you don't count the hundreds of cigarette butts just outside the door whose smell permeated the room. Nasty filthy carpets, splatter on bathroom ceiling looked like blood. Rude, uninterested Manager. Worst hotel/staff experience ever! STAY AWAY!!!

Only if the Wyoming DOT suddenly closed down I-80 at Exit 215 in a raging blizzard and all other motels in Rawlins were full would I ever even consider staying here again. And that would only be if the temperature was far enough below zero that I couldn't possibly sleep overnite in my vehicle. Our entire room was grungy. I... More
