I usually stay at the chain motel down the street but thought I'd give this a try since its closer to downtown. Wow! Check-in was easy and the gentleman was super friendly and helped with some directions. The room is small but actually didn't feel cramped at all. The bath was recently updated and the tub/shower was huge! I could... More

I don't normally stay in motels so I didn't think I would like the Lamplighter. It was clean, and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. This isn't a 5* property, but is the best option for Powell. If I find myself in the area again, I would definitely stay here again.

Room was clean and comfortable. Rick the manager was very nice and helpful. Would highly recommend this motel in Powell. Only stayed one night, but if ever back in the Powell area would certainly stay here again.

This hotel was great! The rooms were very clean and quite! I wish there were refrigerators in the room, but that is all I can say to make the rooms better. I will definitely stay at this hotel the next time I am in Powell.

The Lamplighter Inn is by far the best choice of accommodations in Powell. Our room was small, but very clean. The bath had just been remodeled and the tub/shower unit was sparkling! The room had a coffee maker, but lacked a refrigerator and microwave. The Inn is within walking distance to the cutest downtown area! Retail, restaurants, churches and the... More

The Lamplighter Inn is a comfortable and well kept place to stay. It is located right in downtown Powell so you are close to food, shopping and parks. It looks like motor lodges from the past, but room was clean, modern and very comfortable. There is a restaurant and lounge on the premises, but I did not visit them. The... More

The service was was outstanding. Restaurant food was delicious, just like your best friend cooking for you. Ideal location for walking to downtown destinations. Highly recommended! We were a large group and their quality service was not compromised.

The hotel is average, but mostly I'm commenting on the resteraunt, the steaks are like a piece of tire, and the service is seriously lacking. The prices are compare to really nice places in big cities they have no right to charge as much as they do.

Words cannot say how blown away I am by the personal service provided by the owner to ensure my wedding guests were accommodated and that my husband and I had everything we needed to make our stay memorable. Hands down, best hotel/motel/home away from home in Powell. Thank you so much.

This was a great find, nice clean rooms with almost new shower sink carpet etc. Everyone was very helpful despite being short staffed due to one of the staff being in an accident. We were very pleased with everything including a very tasty meal in the dining room. Great ribeye and chicken.again great servers Amy and Cori. We can't wait... More
