I was hired to do survey work on the local natural gas fields, and for the 3 month job, I lived in one of the cabins at the motel. My work was difficult--walking over 10 miles/day, 4 days/week. It was nice coming "home" to the motel, as it was very comfortable--much more so than a standard hotel room would have... more

We stopped at Pinedale for just one night on our journey south. Our log cabin was small but atmospheric with a great woody smell and had a small kitchen with microwave, fridge and crockery - but no cutlery! This was provided as soon as we asked for it, though. Very accommodating European staff and a friendly owner who dropped in... more

The hosts (Sofia and Forest) were exceptionally friendly and the managing staff from the Czech Republic were very accommodating. They supplied me with many amenities that I forgot to bring along on my trip and they kept the cabins spotless every day. I reccomend this motel to anyone who will be passing through the area. more

Forest and Sofia helped with great advise to discover Sublette County from hiking the Wind River and Wyoming Range to biking, swimming and kayaking on lakes. We also discovered incredible scenic drives and great wildlife viewing places. The cabins were very clean and cozy - the real old west charm with all comforts of today's needs. more

As a solo traveller it is important that you meet considerate people with great service mindedness. Forest and Sophia give you all of this. Unfortunately I had a bad accident on my horse ride in the Wind River Mountains. Fortunately I met the great hosts of The Log Cabin Motel who helped me and supported me in a great way... more

Forrest and Sophia were the most helpful hosts I have yet run across. They offered lodging for our nine horses. They shuttled our trucks and trailers from one trail head to another. Always with warm smiles and enthusiasm. The room was simple, but very clean and cozy and cute. Internet access was a little weak, but available in the right... more

An out-of-the-ordinary place with some real history attached to it! Perfect for an overnight or as a base of operations for enjoying all that Pinedale and the surrounding mountains, rivers and streams have to offer. The cabins vary in size but ours had a kitchen and eating area, two comfy queen beds and a tiny but serviceable bath. The owners... more

The log Cabin Motel is a wonderful experience. Cabins are very clean and have everything you need and are right in the center of town. Sofia and Forest went out of their way to make our horse pack trip work. They had a pasture for our horses to overnight before and after the trip and then they went a step... more

We stayed only one night and now we wish we were there for a week. The service was exceptional and the cleanliness was great for an older log cabin. Sleeping in a real bed with home made quilts made us feel cozy and warm. We loved the fact that they were a " green " business. Its so important these... more

We spent one night here in September, staying in the indoor room (not one of the cabins). We had full use of everything you could possibly want, including the fridge and full kitchen, lounge room etc. And, very important to me, the WiFi was great. The host, Sofia, was a delight to meet after numerous emails beforehand, and we found... more
