We Stayed at Heart 6 Ranch in June 2014. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The Cabin was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there very much. We signed up for horse back riding and it was a wonderful experience, although i was a bit nervous at times. The reason i gave the 4 stars was for the hospitality and... More

Thank you so much for your review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and although we would love to offer a mosquito-free environment, nature is what it is:) It does seem that mosquitos have been quite abundant throughout the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone this year and our staff is very happy that their hatching season is short lived... We booked a king room at the Heart Six Ranch for one night when passing through on the way to Yellowstone. The setting was beautiful with a great sunrise view of the Tetons. The king suite was spacious and the bed was very comfy. Since the ranch is remote, don't expect cell service but there is free wifi in the... More

We only stayed here one night, and would have enjoyed staying longer. We stayed in a family deluxe room, which can sleep 8. The kids each had their own room, as did we, and our bedroom looked out on the Tetons. The ranch is older but seems well maintained, and the rooms were well appointed and clean. The lodge serves... We regretted we had only one night at this beautifully located horse/dude ranch next to the Tetons. We looked down at the winding Buffalo Fork River from our porch. The ranch is located approximately halfway between Jackson, Wyoming and the south entrance of Yellowstone Park. The Rooms are quaint but don't expect the Hilton. There are horse rides and raft... We drove down from Yellowstone and stayed for one night at Heart Six. It was one of the best family experiences of our lives. Staff was wonderful. Rooms were fabulous - comfy beds, bunk beds for kids. Dinner at the restaurant was incredible -we had prime rib and chicken both cooked to perfection. The views are incredible of the Snake... More

We just finished a two hour horseback ride with Nate. Everyone at the ranch was super friendly, the horses seemed well groomed, the location was beautiful, and the ride itself was well worth the cost. Nate led our group of six up 1500 ft. to a wonderful overlook with stunning views of the valley and the Tetons. Four of our... More

Limited access to food options. No refrigerators in the cabin so you must eat $10 plus breakfast and lunch in the cafe down the road. Bring a cooler with food. My husband's horse was lame and the trail guide should have sent for him a different horse to ride. The guide tied his horse to his saddle to lead. The... More

Clean cabin but no televisions at all and Wi Fi is only in hotel lobby and not accessible from all cabins. Very loud furnace that sounded like an airplane taking off every time it turned on. No cell service at all from here.

I just held a photo workshop in the Grand Tetons and at the Heart Six Guest Ranch. We spent a lot of time photographing around the ranch, especially the round-up and release of the horses each day. My guest stayed at the ranch where we had great service and meals. The small café next door is a wonderful place for... More

We stayed the week at Heart Six during a photo workshop that doubled as a great vacation. The location is full of photographic subjects, from great mountain views, to wildlife, to a very pretty working ranch with wranglers and hands working with beautiful horses. The cabins were wonderful, rustic but well appointed; very comfortable bed; quiet at night. The location... More
